    F-15E?

    I'd rather see a pointless 1960's aircraft like the EE Lightning shelved, and the work redirected to the F15E, as it's pretty obvious the F15E is a much more sought after module over the Lightning, which really didn't do anything other than fly fast..

  5. that's the whole point of LOD's, you're not supposed to "zoom in" and expect the same level of detail The highest polys are always the ones closest, and lowest "ugly fuckers" the ones further away.. I'd be more concerned if the ugly blocky ones were the ones running around your airframe during a cat shot

Yeah, not so sure about the Tails, as I'm using the default texture, and it's pretty well weathered, so it would take a lot of work to clean them up to "Factory finish" I can't promise anything as I'm now starting to prepare to return to the Middle East in the next few weeks, and my time will become limited.

  11. Damn! Never noticed "Death Note" missing.. I've corrected the "Panther One" as well, I was using a decal sheet, and never noticed it was slanting the wrong way.. V1.12 imminent !!
  12. Took me a while,but I think I've got it sussed, as I had to rename that texture, and covert it to a DDS, but the air frames I've updated seem to be fine .. massive thanks mate

I never noticed that before, it was the template I was using at the time.. good spot Actually, I'm not sure where these are located, as I've looked at the ED base textures and no change, it might be hard coded as part of the cockpit? as there's no mention of "f15e_cokpit.dds" in any of the description.lua's
  14. Thanks for the feeback, I have them all as a PSD layer, I wanted the reds to look red for the nose art, initially I was using "overlays @75% opacity" but they looked too washed out. For these, I've gone with "normal @75% opacity" easy enough to adjust .. The reds are a tad on the bright side... thanks for the feedback

Having been based at Episkopi from 1982-1984, Cyprus is indeed a welcome addition, however unless it receives a LOT of detail to match the terrain of Syria, it could be an albatross around UGRA's neck. Cyprus needs to be as detailed as it comes, with the Troodos mountains and the various valleys, gorges and ravines that are scattered all around the Island.. The Syria map is my favourite map now, even on my shitty laptop, I'm still able to enjoy it..

I was quite surprised at the AI, I gave my wingman (F18-C) a dupilcate load to mine of 4 xGBU38's by mistake, and ordered him to attack ground targets near an airfield, and he only went and released all 4 JDAM's at the same time, and actually struck 4 different targets.. I was pretty impressed at that ..........................aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand then he blows it.. 4 HARMS, and he jettison the lot when asked to engage air defences !! LOL
  18. Doesn't look like the VSN F18D, also according to their YouTube, it's a new model.. VSN Textures were... very low quality, the ones these guys are showcasing look vastly different. I'm sure the OP will provide more details??

  23. what changes did you make mate? I've downloaded again as intimated by cdpkobra..and the entry.lua's look exactly the same... the suspect lines are still there.. ( downloaded from the openbeta VSN_Mods - 2.5.6.49798)
