  1. Trailer has been released. Can't wait!
  2. Look at how many years have been in between Lock On, LOFC, and now LOFC 2.0 They have families to feed and, last time I checked, LOMAC and DCS weren't selling the total copies that BFBC2 has. We've gotten alot of great years out of LOMAC and LOFC. Considering I paid $30 for LOMAC and $15 for LOFC, I don't think paying another $30 for 2-3 more years of enjoyment is a bad investment. All said an done, that would be $65 for over a decade's worth of fun and flying (and getting shot down repeatedly). For anyone who plays a pay to play MMO, that's basically only 6 months in one of those games. Bad Company 2 costs $50 and that's a game most people will have stopped playing within a year. So, in the end, that $30 for LOFC 2.0 really isn't asking much especially considering what all it's going to entail.
  3. Played it at a friends house. I have to agree with this statement. I guess it boils down to the fact that the shoebox shooter genre has been pushed about as far as it can go. Different titles, improvements in graphics, but the game play feels as though nothing has changed in the past 8 years except more in depth elements have been removed to accommodate the console platforms. Innovation has been traded off for eye candy and massive quick sales. Now, if a person is newer to the shoebox shooter scene (ie 2004 and later) then this will be a great title. For those of us who were there for the release of such titles as Starsiege: Tribes, the first Unreal (1998 ), Battlefield 1942, Tribes 2, America's Army 1.0, and so forth - then this game will wear thin quickly as it really has nothing new to offer other than alot of players and some bang up graphics.
  4. upload a track file so we cna see what's going on :)
  5. Nope, that's just how Modman labeled it when he packed it up :)

  8. I've always regretted not getting three 20's that would do portrait mode.... now I am REALLY regretting it lol
  9. Be aware, that there is a NEW sURL for Seven G: http://www.seveng-f18.com/ is now the official site. http://www.youtube.com/sevengf18 is the official youtube channel This is taken from the forums at the new site (notice there are not any "donate" requests on the new site). I would advise against donating to seven-g.com as it appears to be the old webmaster just trying to make some pocket money. He's already made a post a lockonfiles.com soliciting for donations at the old URL.

Awesome work man! And GA loves to tease.....it's in his blood lol
  11. Carpet bombing is no longer allowed. Precision strikes and strafe runs are the methods now. It costs less to run F/A-18's, Apache's, Warthogs, and Cobra's than it does to run the stealth bombers. As far as the insurgents only having rifles, that's not true either. They still have a nice cache of other munitions as well. When the infantry is pinnned down in hazardous terrain, you call in air support. If the A-10 is needed, the hog will come a running and tear ^%$@ up :D
  12. I just recently requested and received new activations for Lock On. Prompt and great customer service ;)
  13. Even though he has good tastes in clasic metal, still a troll lol
  14. You endure a straight hour of a bladder that's ready to over flow in lieu of getting that Strela that shot you down last sortie.
  15. .....you start comtemplating making everything in your car controllable by toggle switches.
  16. You've played too much Black Shark when... You play Lock On and keep looking for your crosshair cursor.....
  17. I had several crashes with it in LockOn. No OC'ing on my end either. I want something to go faster, I'll just buy something that fast ;)
  18. If you’ve downloaded Nvidia’s 196.75 WHQL drivers you need to heed a warning from Nvidia themselves who have now officially stated that you should install their 196.21 drivers instead for now as they investigate widespread reports that their 196.75 WHQL drivers are causing graphics cards to overheat and, in some instances, fail. Nvidia has confirmed that the issue is of enough concern to act to pull their 196.75 WHQL drivers and have offered the following statement: We are aware that some customers have reported fan speed issues with the latest 196.75 WHQL drivers on NVIDIA.com. Until we can verify and root cause this issue, we recommend that customers stay with, or return to 196.21 WHQL drivers. Release 196.75 drivers have been temporarily removed from our Web site in the meantime.
  19. Actually, they're not always octal. They can be transmitted in both hex and binary as well. Just depends on the transponder. Most aircraft are assigned a Mode S hex code. In which case, 0083 would be a valid word :) Been a looooong time since I actually paid attention to such things, so I had to look up working of the ole ICAO code lol
  20. I had a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I started having problems with it having only 50% X axis to the right and almost always drifting left (not physical movement, but how the computer saw it). Thought my stick had bummed, so I bought another one. Within a month, it starte doing the same thing. I checked around and found there were alot of complaints about it. Logitech made no driver updates or ever admitted that the joystick design was defective. Went Saitek and never looked back.
  21. Worn out definitely. I've unwrapped a C-2 Greyhound when it was delivered the carrier I was on and there were already worn places in the paint. And yeah, it was shipped wrapped in plastic lol!
  22. http://www.n4g.com/pc/News-474806.aspx Hope everyone enjoys playing the same retail maps for the months to come.
  23. It's not bad. Far less of a resource hog than Steam.
