As I'm finding out. I give him rocks and he reduces them to................. smaller rocks. Flight simming is to fragile a hobby. If he even breathed on a trackIR it would disintegrate!

Ordered. And picked up a nice throttle detent at the same time. Cheers for the advice! Hopefully they are 5yr old proof!

Cheers mate. Is this the part? https://www.shapeways.com/product/M7GXUWE2B/thrustmaster-joystick-tailpiece-m?optionId=58829258&li=shops there's also a cheaper plastic one.

(pic of the iron rod before small child had a go) So my 5yr old son, on his first sit down snapped my 10 yr. old stick! Its cast iron FFS. Christ on a bike. Any idea where i can buy one of these bits and what's it even called? He's now banished from dads cave till he can tame his superhuman strength!

TM will sell you a RT hand throttle handle with all switches as a unit. Or they did 2 yrs ago when I enquired.

Confirmed that LastRifleRound was right. My Combination of using RAID mode and fumble fingering the SCS and assuming that just because a track has the HAFU symbol its "bugged", when in fact its not.
-
This is what I've been trying to do. But you're right, I was using RAID mode. The wrong mode. I'll try your suggestion tonight on my test mission. Thanks for all the great answers guys.

I have trouble separating close formation targets even in RAID or EXP modes. What's the most efficient HOTAS switchology to do it? My idea was. Sensor control switch RT in TWS, selects Rader on right DDI and assigns L&S (Primary) Undesignate, (switches bugged contact) TDC depress to designate bugged target as DT2, (secondary). Then I should have 2 targets for TWS launch. But..... It doesn't seem to work. How are you guys doing it in the heat of battle?

After completing mission 2 it says Pres ESC to end mission. I do that, then choose quit and end up at debriefing screen. Hitting end mission here does nothing so i hit close and get dumped back at the campaign screen. Hitting OK am ab back at mission 2 again! Groundhog day. What am I dong wrong? This campaign rocks BTW. I've learnt more about Hornet weapons in 3 days than 2 years of YT videos and guides! Cheesy but fun.

.. and meanwhile, its all fine on my nvidia card. G2 is more fiddly than oculus though. No getting round that.

Mines come but sat in it's box as i've now got no GFX card Previously had a Rift S which was a low rez blur fest. Cant wait!!

Just accidentally hit "restart" on campaign screen after 6 missions!! Help!

It did ask if I was sure but I was fiddling with trackIR or something. Bollocks. -
I am relearning the new hog after years away and am determined to crack the CDU this time with regards creating waypoints from JTAC calls, etc. After finding a few great YT guides I can now enter BRA offset, L/L and UTM co-ordinates. What I can't do in my simple training mission is reliably get allies to call out BRA positions for ground targets I've placed. In the campaign the radio chatter is all over it with multiple BRA calls for air defense and armour targets. Who is making these calls? Allied flights or ground forces? They all have the same voice actor in DCS so its hard to distinguish who's talking. Its not AWACS as they only give A-A BRA.

Can confirm I am in A-10C II real settings "HOTAS TMS Forward" highlighted in red. Cleared and re-added. Made no difference. Tried key combos and they work fine. I can Point track and set SPI using keys Checked stick TMS DX functions in control panel --> game controllers and working fine. DCS lets me remap TMS FWD in settings but does not work in game. (checked flying A-10c II in mission editor). Will verify other modules tonight.
