yeh it deffinately likes cpu clockspeed more than anything else, im at 5ghz and its still difficult to make it decently playable

i rarely use stt for that very reason, it just seemed like you said you really shouldnt be able to do it

its much easier to say tws lock then type all that out. whats wrong with using phoenix in stt? you dont need to hold hte trigger down for 3 seconds, theres a 3 second delay between pressing trigger and missile going (unless you open the acm switch then is 1 second and no loft), they are not the same thing.

i saw an interview with an ed guy the other day and although i enjoyed the interview 1 thing he said REALLY irked me. he claimed vr performance is perfectly acceptable and basically i dont know why people complain about it! god damn that annoyed me. i have a better system than he does and struggle like hell to get a consistent pleasant framerate in vr despite having the game look jaggy as hell! having said that i litterally cant go back to 2d even with that in mind!

thank you for organising the chaos! it feels like were at least progressing towards identifying the actual problems and moving past some people claiming its never happened to me therefore its never happened to you either/you dont know how to use the jet. (not heatblur btw) the f14 right now is frustrating as hell to use because you never know whats going to happen. last night we had 3 in the air (i had a human rio) the 2 who had jester had an unusable jet due to the radar problems whereas mine worked well (apart from the heading tape being 15 degrees out which is a new 1 on me!)

ive had the same issue, impossible to reproduce and a pita when it happens lol soooo many problems like this atm its driving us nuts

the a seems more likely to chase chaff now than it did before aswell, only got a small sample size atm though. ive never had 3 out of 3 missiles go after chaff before and that happened a few days ago

3 of us went on a mission last night, i had a human rio and the radar worked fine, both guys using jester couldnt get a damn thing on tws, its nearly unusable atm

yup thats normal, shes a very vocal aircraft and thats a great thing in a turn fight because she talks to you

much harder for me. i tried a few midnight shit weather case 3s from 50 miles out and nailed 3 wires every time! i find case 1 harder lol

my turns are garbage, i tend to balloon through the turn or drop like a brick lol

i love info like that. theres a similer story for the english electric lighting an f3 (xr749 iirc) was noticeably faster than the rest of the fleet and nobody knows why

hes not exaggerating guys, i cant remember a single mission recently where everybody has even got into the air and most of those that do have some kind of issue. its incredibly frustrating because theyr all so intermittent as to be impossible to reproduce. heres a list off the top of my head of recent issues. hud horizon rolling off axis throughout the flight alignment crashing repeatedly (rio had to do it manually in the end last night after it repeatedly got stuck at 17) trim saying screw this im going for a moon shot tws saying nope and not locking anything (suspect it might be switching to rws instead as ive seen a thread for it) tws working but stt saying nope (not notching/beaming and with plenty of closure) tws and stt working but pal saying nope or all of the above radar issues at the same time making us utterly useless all of these issues at least 1 of us (6 pilots max on any mission) have had in the last half a dozen missions! i have alot of patience will heatblur because i dont think for 1 second they broke anything and also intermittent problems that are very very difficult to reproduce are a nightmare! but the truth of it is were slogging through a very frustrating experience atm and our campaigns etc are suffering because of it

if its on stdby then i dont think pal modes work

its ticked in the mission editor, jester uses it automatically if its enabled, it litterally just shortens the align time greatly
