I worked the flight deck for over 20 years. There are many different variables in a CAT launch. The weight, density altitude, the steam or "umpf" used. The deck is pitching etc,etc. I did notice that the Rhino's had more lift than the Legacy Hornets unless they were 5-wet configured and full of fuel. They didn't have as much lift even with a burner shot. It all depends.
In DCS, I have to keep from over rotating, specifically during CQ, because I don't want to overshoot 500 feet on the upwind leg before I enter the downwind leg to 600 feet. (I always act as if there's other aircraft in the pattern) :0
