Hi, I would like to purchase a couple of modules during the spring sale for future gifts. Can you still do this through binding to a different user if you haven't activated the product. BTW, I have all the modules so I won't activate them myself. Thanks, Clutter

Is there a way to set the PPT coordinates in the mission Editor. I looked but could not see where to do it. Thanks,

Hi, I am trying to edit a mission to add a country to a coalition that was not originally there. I copied the mission, changed .miz to .zip, unziped via Win 10. After that I edited the mission file via Notepad++. I tried to recompile via WIN 10 "Send" to compreeseed folder. All it give me is an error./ I have tried trouble shoot it, but get noting. I next tried WIN ZIP. I zipped the folder, and winzip did give error about the time stamps. I changed .zip to .miz and tried to open via the ME> Although the file shows up, nothing happens. Any clues as to what I am doing wrong or suggestions on how to solve. TIA

Having just acquired LotAtc4DCS, and having NOT read the previous 36 pages (or the manual) is there a list of common DCS servers that allow the use of LotAtc?

I assume that this is designed to work with the Rift. Is that correct?- 3421 replies

Understanding Pixel Density - Making sense of it
AKA_Clutter replied to DerekSpeare's topic in Virtual Reality
OK, dumb question. I use OTT and have SS set to 1.3. I also have PD set to 1.5 in game. So am I doubvle dipping and costing myself performance without any real increase? -

Make sure that they are pointing to different directories. I have the current and run Release Build and Beta build. Haven't checked lately, but they do seem to be different (or last I check abo 4 weeks ago). ** Just checked and Release launches 2.5.2.xxx whereas Openbeta launches 2.5.3. They might be the same if you updated the release build last week, but haven't update the beta yet. Just guessing. :joystick:

SO, if you set them in both the game and OTT, does one overrule the other?

Where is that option locate. I can't find it for the life of me. TIA

Thanks for the suggestion. If memory serves me right, I tried turning ASW off a month or so ago, and it seemed much worse. I'll give it another try.

All, At times I notice "ghosting" while flying in VR. Typically this occurs following a crash, or some external views. By ghosting I mean that when you move your head, the metal frame of a cockpit leaves 4-5 tracks as it moves. This occurs with all the graphics on the screen as far as I can tell. Does anybody else see this or know what may cause it. I don't remember seeing such a thing a few months back, and haven't flown flat panel in almost a year. I do use SkateZilla's app to launch with the OOR software selected. TIA

27" 144Hz or Oculus rift - What will it be?
AKA_Clutter replied to desertowl's topic in Virtual Reality
I came into this thread late, but have a 27" 144 hz 1440 monitor. Got that before the Oculus Rift. I think you will enjoy the VR a lot. One thing that I truly believe is that at this stage of VR it will be VERY individual taste. I like the resolution of the monitor, but the emersion of the VR is hard to beat. BTW, if a game has VR, I do VR. -
Hi, I use Sk2teZilla update utility and it allows one to chose between using the Oculus Rift API or Steam VR API. Can anyone tell me the differences, which might be better, and the Pros and Cons. Thanks,
-
Thanks that helps some. For the Graphic options, is there something that describes what and hw to set that up? Is itt an existing file, that you modify and then save? As for the OR API or Steam API. I know what you are saying, but haven't a clue as to which might be better and why. Probably a topic for the VR section. Thanks again for the response and for the utility! o7

Great Utility and I have been using it for the past 6 moths, but probably not taking advantage of all the possibilities. I fly VR (CV1) and this makes it sooooo easy. I see several things (e.g., Options preset, Oculus Rift Configuration, etc.) hand haven't a clue as to what they do or how to use them. Now, I haven't scanned the 54 pages of the thread, but is there something somewhere that explains the various options and their impact. TIA

F/A-18C Early Access CH Manager Profile
AKA_Clutter replied to AKA_Clutter's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hi Snakeeyesuk, The map has each controller individually and doesn't combine them into a single controller. As such in the game you will see CH Manager controller 1, CF Manager 2, and CF Manager 3. In the map the rudder peals are CM Device 3 and the same in the game. The rudder axis is the "Z-Axis" , the right toe brake is the Y-Axis, and the left toe brake is the X-axis. Hope that answers the question. :pilotfly: -
Hi, Here is my CH manager map and profile files. These are for the fighter stick, Pro Throttle and Pro rudder pedals. The CH MFC is included but not yet implemented. I plan on using that as the UFC, assuming that I can use it while in VR. The cmc file should contain all the possible command though most are comment out. This is a work in progress and any comments or feedback will be greatly appreciated. Enjoy. DCS FA-18C VR.zip

+1 to SkateZilla’s program. I recommend it for non VR users as well.
