It is definitely not a problem with bandwidth: I monitored UL/DL while joining and there was only normal, steady traffic in low kB/s. But I saw that my graphics memory slowly filled. Though, it seems that this a local issue of the misssion/theater because of much data. Whatever they are... As already mentioned and approved: Loading the mission in advance in SP and afterwards joining MP helps. Using this procedure I never had a kickback to the default screen.

The loading times are quite long. I experienced kickbacks to start screen as well. A good idea is (don‘t remember who to credit for this idea) to download the mission (D/L in first posting) and join the mission in SP with the asset you‘ll most probably want to fly online. Leave SP, join MP - and voilà - almost instantly you‘re in the selection screen. A bit tedious, but it helps.

Nicht ganz: MPs setzen geht da nicht - und wenn es in R/L gehen sollte, heisst das noch lange nicht, dass wir das auch machen können. Will sagen: Es gibt auch eine Maverick-Version, die auf Laser-Spot zielt. Die haben wir auch nicht... Es wird eben nicht alles umgesetzt, was auch möglich ist.

Zum Guide: Ich denke mir, es ist sinnvoll zu den Systemen (Rot) auch deren NATO-Bezeichnung mit anzugeben, dann erschliesst sich der Sinn der Buchstaben im RWR schneller. Beispiele: DE - Dog Ear CS - Clam Shell FL - Flap Lid BB - Barlock B ...

Nein. Brauchst nicht kpl. neu runterladen und installieren. Ok.. Danke. Ja, ich hab hier 2.5OB und da es ja nun diese als Stable gibt, ist die Frage, ob ich die hiesige 2.5OB nun per Updater konvertieren/fixieren muss, damit ich von den Beta-Verbesserungen verschont bleibe - ohne Neuinstallation der Stable.

Bei „Rot“ sah‘s ähnlich aus. Alle „dicken“ SAMs wurden (werden) auch eher hinten und für den Schutz von HQs, etc. eingesetzt. Viele Systeme sind eh’ nur als statisch anzusehen (SA-3 & Co.). Die mobilen Einheiten (SA-15, etc.) weiter vorne, aber noch hinter 2S6. Allg. wird versucht Schutzringe aufzubauen um so eine optimale Raumabdeckung zu erreichen: LR, MR, Shorad, Manpads, AK-47. ;) Ansonsten: Auf den üblichen MIL-Seiten sollte offenes Material zur Gliederung zu finden sein. Wird (ohne Hand anzulegen) automatisch aus der Open Beta die Stable ud bleibt in diesem Status oder muss ich die Kommandozeile bemühen um die Stable-Version zu fixieren? Hab aktuell keinen Bock mehr auf Alpha, Beta, Gamma... „Never run a changing system“ ;)
