  1. With today’s update (nov 17) I see no performance improvement in VR. Version 2.7 is still better. Hope devs find the problem.
  2. Well explained, let see if we have some attentions from the devs Again, TADS is smooth, don’t know why... By the way, I’m trying my new Pimax 8KX this days, but unfortunately, PNVS stuttering is still there.
  3. Oh, is down in "Per-game installation", I forgot that. Thanks!
  4. Where did you download the last Opencomposite version? I donwloaded here: https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR but can't find "opencomposite.ini" and "openvr_api.dll" files.
  5. Just tried today’s update, perfomance loss is still the same
  6. Nice this thread is alive again. As you said, the problem is more noticeable in VR. What headset do you use? G2 here. By the way, just rolled back to 2.7, but in 2.8, PNVS stuttering was the same for me (first time I do when a new update is released is to check this issue in the Apache). Oh, Pimax 8K is on the way, I will post here if the issue persists.
  7. Just rolled back to 2.7 and everything is back to normal Quick test: for same fps (45-50 in Apache quickstart hot start mission) in 2.7 I can turn MSAA to X4 and Shadows to normal, in 2.8 MSAA needs to set in X2 and Shadows to low. 12700k CPU and 3090 GPU. Sad I can't log in some MP servers now

    Defueling

Works for me too, from 100% to 50% fuel. Did it many times in 4YA PvE Syria server, in North Cypress FARP.
  9. Really? I'm thinking to going back to 2.7, now I have doubts By the way, I remember years ago that was a terrible VR update and Nevada maps loss 50% of performance (again, in VR). I think ED fix was more or less quick, if I remember correclty. The problem this time is the perfomance loss is not only in VR. Hope ED will release a fix soon.
  10. Yeah, it seems last update changes something in IC
  11. Yeah, I think so. Anyway I’m doing more testing now, and I see a difference between SVR and OC (some frames better in OC, of course). But not huge as in 2.7, it seems. Next thing is to update Nvidia drivers. I know, I had to do it in the first place, hejeje.
  12. Great, thanks Just tried without SteamVR, same fps loss with my previus (2.7) settings. I espect more fps loss. This is weird, perhaps OpenComposite is not doing it's magic?
  13. Not yet, I will do in two hours or so. I’ll post the results.
  14. I can confirm, a 10-15 fps drop with 3090 and Reverb G2, and OpenComposite. Same settings than 2.7. I get almost same performance as 2.7 going from MSAA X4 to X2 and terrain shadows to Flat. I will try with SteamVR, but I don’t espect to get better results.
  15. Any news on this issue? I can fly night missions changing to TADS (goes smoother than PNVS even slew speed is slower), but leave George almost blind, lol.
  16. Just tried and yes, it feel really nice! No need to fight all the time with the rudder if you touch the collective (even a bit). I’m courious what real Apache pilots think about this mod. It’s a pitty doesn’t pass Integrity Check. Thanks, Scaley
  17. Sorry for the off topic, but I’m a G2 user too and I’m thinking to buy the Pimax 8K. As I understand, the Pimax has big sweet spot but a bit less clarity than the Reverb. Do you think the wider FOV (must be amazing) compensate the loss of clarity? (perhaps is not very obvious). Thanks! I will follow this topic, I’m a happy user of Opencomposite with my G2.
  18. Bump this thread just in case someone discovered how to get the camera closer in F2 view in the Apache. I use sometimes RCtrl+F2 Object free camera view, that let you get closer to the aircraft, but binding is no possible yet.
  19. Just installed and no problem binding the throttle, works fine for me. (Saitek X56 throttle and Warthog joystick). I only had to clean some pedal axis assigned to pitch-roll instead of left-right wheel breaks.
  20. Donation and download done, thanks for the mod! Any chance to see in the future the OV-1 Mohawk?
  21. There is other values in the lua file, but didn’t try. And yes, slider in Special Options would be nice to have.
