i bought my rift this christmas and i had the same question well is awesome the resolution at first days comes second you can startup the aircraft just fine without problem the hud is readable just fine as well the MFD's i played the whole campaign of the MIRAGE without labels (except the mission with the infantry) and was just fine but i use a lot zoom which you can bind in your hotas i say go for it... dont think it!!!!!!!;)

Weather you change the AA you have to restart the sim;)

personally i keep PD to 1.5 and no MSAA it feels better instead of 1.2 wih MSAA X2

the 4790k is still one of the best cpu's for gaming the upcoming 1170 will have the same performance or a liitle better as a 1080ti it will not bottleneck anything 6700k vs 4790k is intentical with maybe 2-3 fps difference

also that is a solution i will try myself i had it at 1.3 with x2 but this didnt work very well in caucasus Nevada is different story what nvidia drivers are you running?

at default setting mate...if it was at 0 leave it there

use the ingame PD I have it at 1.5 with no msaa and runs pretty good most of the time at singleplayer

there is no saving feature as i know off however when i get issues like that all i have to do is to go to the search, type "services" once they are open scroll down and find the vr runtime right click on it and select restart is exactly like you restart your pc and everything works great again:P

the bad thing about oculus is that once experience it you are not going to use your monitor for flying....personally i stop flying PREPAR3D because you have a lot workload in a 737NG and with rift is a little difficult
