  1. The devs should create some damn good dynamic campaigns for single player and mulitplayer, based on RL events. Then this map would come to life. Maybe even WWII events, would be aweosme.
  2. Can I ask here, does the F-16C have slef sealing fuel tanks? Its ineed very odd that each time of getting hit by something, fuel starts to leak. Even if it doesn't have self sealing fuel tank, its odd.
  3. After landing you shut down the plane, and if you don't move it before next take off, a Stored heading alignment will do it (no need of a normal alignment).
  4. In FC3 tire pop up is modeled pretty accurately. Tires start to pop up after passing 200 kts. It also depends on the total weight, clean can take much more speed before tires pop up. Also not, Mig-29 accelerates pretty fast, and you are at 200 kts in almost no time. Mig-29 take off speed is bettween 150 and 160 kts! Remember that.
  5. Would it be possible to make the Direction Finder antenna which is right behind the cockpit a bit more round? It looks so strange to look at those edges everytime l ook behind. Now it is made out of 20 pieces, would be cool to tripple it (or even more), so it would look like its round.
  6. Would it be possible to at least have an option under Special/Bf-109K-4 tab, to spawn with the flare gun removed? I, and I'm sure most of the others as well, really never use it, and it only gets into the way on 2 gauges there.
  7. exactly. I've never even thought about to interupt the alignment of hmcs procedure. But as a code developer you have to put yourself on the lowest level and try to figure out all the posibilites user can do/press,/type/whatEver... but still someone can find another missing piece/glitch sooner or later

  11. Does it crashes only on this map? Paste the log file in here, you can find it: ...Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs\dcs.log So we can take a look into it. You can also use the "dcs-log-analyzer "room" on DCS's official discord channel.
  12. Now there seems that all the ground has the same type of surface, which is tarmac. They do all act and sound like tarmac. Would be cool to make some difference, specially on the all airfields.

  16. Indeed, no more visible gear down of other players. Didn't try my self to fly it yesterday, what about the engine expoit, with over reving it to 4200, has been fixed as well? EDIT: Yes, that over rev bug is still there.

With the new map of Marianas WWII and warbirds dogfights its so damn hard to define the distance between yourself and the water, since is looks so calm down there, there are no swells on the sea, or bairly anything. So there is almost no perception how much margin you still have before hitting the water. Would be really cool to do something about it ED. Please ED, now its about time to grant this long awaiting wish

  20. Leave ED in piece, and let them do their work! None of us can do anything to speed it up, or what ever. Mig-29 will be ready when ED will decide it. And I hope they take the time needed, so we get a decent module from the start.
  21. Masada is only an example, in general the terrain mesh is far from being good. There is no feeling what so ever in this map, how rugged the terrain in this part of the world is.
  22. They should also improve the terrain mesh, its way too flat, specially in the mountains. Normal map only fakes the effect of height difference. Still WIP:

As far as I understad how RSBN and PRMG is implemetned into Mig-21, it only uses one single channel for both types of navigations (so the same channel used for RSBN approach navigation is also used for PRMG landing navigation). And it should work on all the maps which have the belonging lua file. Not sure how this is actually done IRL.
  24. Wonderful news. I hope Mig-21 gets the same one day. Btw, how about fixed stations, will they be in beacons.lua file, or something else (something like for Mig-21 in their own format)?
