  3. I bought a Vive VR on releaseday. The immersion is fantastic. Its great for Luckys Tale & Elite Dangerous etc. HOWEVER, with DCS it suxx. Trying to spot a ground target, or reading cockpit instruments in DCS is downright horrible. The resolution is too low. Graphics card aside, my main gripe with VR + DCS is resolution. Hand controllers, naaaa I never used it. Like in.. maybe 15 minutes total. 1. Is there any hope for higher res, for example: HP Reverb? 2. Will it be compatible with SteamVR?

  6. How to use the Sea Eagle DCS 2.5.4.25729 As per DCS 2.5.4.25729, see link below. Launching works like the Kh-41 which was removed from the Su-33 like <=10 years ago (about DCS 1.1). 1. In the Mission Editor. Select Sea Eagle in payload tab. Select Advanced (Waypoint Actions) in Route tab and choose Perform task-Attack Unit in the corresponding drop down lists. Select the unit to attack. 2. Start the mission. Go weapons hot, select the Sea Eagle pylons. Fly towards the target area and shoot, the missile has its own guidance (fire-and-forget), be sure you are within weapon range (around 60 NM, probably less, depending on launch altitude, etc.) and outside of ship’s weapons range.

  9. Since the last Open Beta update (DCS 2.5.2.20601 Update 9) of 29-8-2018, the user interface has locked all UI buttons such as Fly, New Mission etc. Neither possible to click "oke" where needed. The only way to fly, is to use a Instant Mission then press PAUSE to start the mission. My computer hasnt changed and no hardware was added. It worked fine the day before update.

  14. I'm not getting any response in DCS 2.5. Yesterday i bought a used KW-908 Jetseat off ebay. The vibramotos works and massage also works fine. I started SSA, according to logs it installed some scripts in DCS. Then started DCS 2.5 and jumped into a A-10C. When i fire the cannon , nothing happens, no vibramotors working. For sound output i use SPDIF Digital Out on my motherboard. I tried the frontpanel connectors however there is still no response from the motors. The Jetseat is in USB-mode. Sounds=manual Firmware ver: 02.57 Where did i go wrong?

  16. I have a vive. Nothing works. Pulling the trigger on buttons / switches has no effect, same goes for the hands. Nothing changed since 1.5.x
  17. Not working in the Vive. I jumped into a Mi-8. Tried pushing buttons nothing works, the triggers on the Vive dont do squat. Same as 1.5.8.

  19. Getting the BK-90 Mjölnir to relase bomblets is a trial-and-error affair. sumtimes it releases bomlets, otherwise just overflys. My target is flat terrain at Kutaisi airport. Here's what i do; 1. Setup waypoint B3 --> target point B3 --> M3 (TAKT, input, 9, press B3, confirm, swith to output) 2. Setup flight to 150m (TAKT, input, 91150, press confirm button, swith to output) 3. Set disperse mode to wide (TAKT, input, 922, press confirm button, swith to output) 4. Set radar dial to ANF. 5. Fly into general direction <=30 degrees towards the target. 6. Get speed to >=900km/h and altutide 250m 7. Release weapon when <>8km from target. Sumtimes the BK90s just harmlessly overfly. Othertimes it drops the motherload as intended. I cant figure out where i'm going wrong. Sorry, no track available.
  20. When my plane crashes fatally, pilot=dead then RB-15F also explodes. :( Isnt it a fire-and-forget? It happens, even if i turn 180degrees, run away very fast and then crash. Missile too then selfdestructs. Isnt it supposed to continue its mission, regardless of player dead/alive..?

  21. I had simioair problems, RB-15f explodes after launch. What workde for me. - Bx6,7,8 and 9 should be seperated by >=5km - Bx8 and Bx9 are closer than <=5km, and/or no targets at BX8. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=192862
  22. [sOVLED] Rb-15F launch procedure I think I nailed the RB-15F My learnings; 1. Before takeoff, manually enter Bx8 coordinates first, then enter Bx6, Bx7, Bx9 to be <>5km from Bx8. Why? Coz when u create Bx8, all other waypoints will be created too. When u then slew Bx8 using the TV-stick u may not see them. Irritating. After manually entering the waypoints, u can much easier move them with TV stick.. provided u see them on radar. 2. U can launch missiles at differnt targets. first setup the Bx8, launch in enkel, move Bx8 and launch again. You can use same Bx7 3. Slewing Bx8 using TV-stick automagically slews Bx6, Bx7 and Bx9. This may cause NO LAUNCH red light. 4. The Bx6 will (usually be in a straight line between u and Bx7, It maybe even behind u. 5. The Bx6 always is in a straight line between u and Bx7, keep that in mind when u launch from over land. best is ofcoz, to launch over sea, or vrey close to sea. usually i have Bx6 <>8km from Bx7 so less likely to crash into hilly terrain. Kutaisi-area is relative flat. should be fine launching from there to sea. What happens when u launch. - The missile wil always fly straight to Bx7 from your current position, at launch altitutde. - It wil turn at Bx7, scan towards Bx8, if it finds nothing at Bx8 it will turn towards Bx9 NO LAUNCH red light when; - BX9 is too close to Bx8, i.e. the Bx9 cross is touching the Bx8 circle'. - BX9 is too sharp angel from Bx8, sumthing like >90 degrees. - BX7 is too sharp angel from Bx8, sumthing like >90 degrees. - Bx7 and Bx9 should be in sorta straight line to each other, small curve is allowed - Launching >=2,000m ASL. - A launch authirised maybecome No LAUNCH when u slew DX8, and other w - U overfly Bx6 and its behind u. - U are too close to Bx7 (dunno exactly how close) Below is a launch that works.

  24. Buccaneer 24 SQN South African Airforce -- last airdisplay 1991 The last airdisplay by the South African Airforce before retiring the Bucs. Whats the language spoken there? Its Afrikaans.. The SA-version of Dutch Africa. Some of the buccaneer (pilots)aircrew are on Facebook a few of them at retirement age. Video synopis; * SA Airforce Bucs were used 25 yrs from 1965 to 1991 * Bridge busters, ops duty in Angola * low level flight * On the deliveryflight from Lossiemouth to Kaapstad (Capetown), 1 bucs was lost at sea.
  25. @Lazyboot. I can launch and sumhow fewer self-destucts. Even when i'm definitley in range. However, some weird behaviours. 1. Missiles self-destructs when player dies. 2. Moving the Bx7 turnpoint using TV-stick in AKT/POS-mode, will cause the missile to fly to the new turnpoint, but then its seaker turns relative to target location. Meaning, misses the target. 3. After moving Bx7 the missile would nosedive into the water a few seconds after the turn, 99% of the time. Is it me doing sumthing wrong here? How does the waypoints work? Does the missile in fact, after launch, go to BX7, then heads to BX9?
