Hye Blaze, Last I heared you were using GFTi4200.. do you still use it? I just got the game 2 days ago. I already completed the Su-27 tutorials... but let us be honest, only 2 tutorials were required to learn the new avionics on the russian fighter jets. Anyway, Im loving the TWS. Just rules. As for the voices overs... did Iron Hand already make voice overs for Flanker 2.5?! :o

Hi uncle, You could try copy/paste the textures and models of 1.0x to your 1.1 folder. Remember the modded demo? It worked like 1.1 but you had 1.0x textures and 3D models. Of course the brand new weapons like the Vihir missles and others wont be affected this change. I dont remember how to do the change but perhaps you could search for the thread about the 1.1 modded demo on ptsim? Regards

I have some doubts about this new system. Since I dont have a credit card, ill have to use the one of my grandmother yet some data required by this "Protx" about your credit card is unknown by me. Since my grandmother doesnt understand any english, I would like to know the following: 1. The billing post code: I have check the help question located on the right of the box of this part of the credit card data, but im not sure about this... the question is: if the cardholder doesnt live in the United Kingdom I should input 000? 2. What is the billing adress? I cant understand what it is supposed to mean...

But 1.0 was patched for 1.02 unlike 1.1 that wasnt even patched to 1.11. And I dont know why you would expect people who spent days and hard work on software to see themselves flamed by their own costumers. Remeber: ED is a small software house. They are not any Electronic Arts. Obviously you dont know how beta testing works. Last I heared some of their bugs that were reported were put in a priority list. Since ED still works with a publisher, which is 1C, they had to release a western version, equal to the eastern version to prevent incompability problems during online play. And since 1C commands, they didnt authorize any more testing and probably wanted FC to come out. Im not blaming 1C for the bugs, yet we have to understand that they gave 5~6 extra months for ED to correct the bugs. ED is obviously not perfect and its resources are low. They did their best and worked hard to get 1.1 out with almost no bugs. Unfortuntantly they couldnt do it, and the least we should do is SUPPORT them not flame them. Of course you may do this: forget that FC was released and wait for a patch. You pay for add-on only due to its bug corrections? (That unfortunately werent solved in 1.1) I can understand that, but with a new aircraft new problems have arrisen that obscured the ones that already existed. This isnt a patch its an add-on. Agree, but I think your squadmate disobeyed the forum rules. Something must have happened...

Who said so? And why dont you look at your side? There are plenty of F-15 pilots that say the Eagle pwns. Does that mean is just their opinion? Remember when you told that the aircraft technology didnt really matter during air combat and it was the pilot skill instead? Well if an Eagle pilot says that his aircraft pwns, obviously he identifies himself with that aircraft. It may because it has ARH, it may because of the top speed and accelaration or may its agility? Obviously an Eagle pilot is more effective with an F-15 than with an F-14. Thatswhy he says that his aircraft is the best, because he manages more effective flights than with other aircraft and prefers its strong points. Thatswhy there are people that prefer different aircraft. I myself identify better with the Flanker series. I like its strong points, like more weapon payload and some of its avionics, because I believe I get a better flight. And I always said that the Flankers were the best, at least for me. If I had to select an aircraft to pilot i would choose a Flanker. Does that mean its the best aircraft in the world? No, but perhaps I would get more air kills with it. So if I managed to shot down many aircraft with it w/o been hit, my aircraft was obviously the best. At least according to the Eagle 100:0 ratio kill theory... Anyway, I dont know if you were referring to me. But giving our "friendship" I had to answer your post. Also, KoustA intention was never to make this an "aircraft vs aircraft" debate. But some people cant contend themselves and come here and say the Flanker rules or the Raptor is the best, etc. However there are people that dont share this opinion and the battle starts. Other though, just want to learn something. You should do that instead of coming here to make such a useless post. Sorry for being harsh, but i just couldnt take it.

Next generation fighter is relevant. Techonology is always growing and increasing, but sometimes it gets a boost. There are many boosts in human military history, such as rockets, guided missiles and more recently, stealth aircraft. You may consider "boosts" as a generation jump. I know that the Su-30MK1 is the best Flanker around. Didnt know it a 5th generation fighter though...

Can the Su-30MK1 be considered a next-generation aircraft? Im not sure about that, but im sure the Raptor is. Thus I find it normal that it can beat the Flanker. Assuming my assumption is correct I can say that comparing Raptor and Flanker, is like comparing an F-4 Phamtom with a P-51 Mustang.... By the way, anyone knows if the Su-47 (S-37) will enter in service?

This is a memory problem. Lock On is a very memory demanding game, so even with 1Gb you will notice this kinda of "loading" when you exit the game. But AFAIK this effect is more notable in 1.1 .

Yeah, but thats the bad stuff dude. Because there is good stuff on this sim, that is simulated properly, and one of those things is activated when the missle effectiveness bar is at +/- 50%. Well currently im not playing lock on, waiting for 1.1 . And by the way, just because a sim doesnt model everything like reality does it mean that its not a sim? :confused: I find your argument...stupid. But hey, keep it up rofl...

I have to disagree. In a -simulator- reality is simulated, thus requiring the world to act realistic. So 5x% is the most correct slider position IMO.

2x Also Turkey is part of NATO right now...unless he found some argument for the separation...

Whatever is the idea of Thomas, the option for the cooling system should be implemented and the main reason is: if you have an easy radar option, why not a non-cooling laser option? ;) In IL2 for example you may fly it as an arcade game or a sim. The more options to reduce difficulty of the game, the better, as long it remains optional, and the realistic setting remains high priority for the dev. team. Just my opinion. :)
