  1. Thanks guys. I think I can get 4K using your fix working, but it ends up badly distorted :( I was looking for screen caps to use as a desktop.
  2. Is there anyway of setting the screen shot size to be different from the view size?? So I can get decent sized screen caps while using VR??? Thanks, James
  3. No joy :( Did a clean install of the drivers and after a fun flight, same thing. Logs.zip
  4. Thanks, I'll give it a go an let you know what happens. Win10 'upgraded' on Friday prior to DCS getting updated :(
  5. It also crashes when you select either Quit or Quit to Desktop
  6. Here you go ... Its a 7z file renamed to a zip. Logs.7z.zip
  7. Installed with no mods, Win10, Oculus VR - loads fine, flies great but when I exit the flight DCS.exe crashes and I have to reload from Desktop. Rgds, James
  8. My only questions re: trains in Normandy - do they shoot off steam when you riddle them with 50 cal? :)
  9. A simple respawn option would be really useful for training A2A with perhaps an option to randomise the starting location ... an endless stream of AI targets to fight.
  10. Many thanks CI, really appreciate getting the science behind what's happening, even if I'm still struggling to control it!
  11. I'd be keen on the answer to this too ... I loop to the left with my right wing dragging :(
  12. I've experienced something similar in multiplayer and it seems to be the app loosing focus - did a message appear? Try clicking on the Window with the mouse or press <Alt><Tab> to give it focus.
  13. Just tried it and it works really well! Thanks for the tip.
  14. Thanks Braeden, I'll give it a try ... be good to get it in the base app.
  15. Hi, I'm using a TM Warthog with Rift VR. In the UI layer I have the mouse wheel back forward mapped to a switch on the throttle (China Hat?) which I use primarily for dialling in course/heading on the nav instruments. However, one click only moves 1 degree so if I have to change it from 030 to 210 ... well you get the problem. I don't have the mouse enabled as I find it easier (with a couple of exceptions) to move the VR cursor and press a button mapped to right/left click. Is it possible to have a setting (or is it possible now) for buttons to allow repeat if you hold it forward/backward?? Thanks, James
  16. Agreed, lovely plane to fly, but really quite frustrating ... if you don't get the head-on shot, they're gone :(
  17. I noticed this on my first flight :(
  18. Even with my varifocal glasses (not ideal), problems with lenses steaming up or getting grotty, my nose getting tickled, visible pixels, generally lower detail, recently having to buy a new USB card for no reason, links to Facebook, etc. it is worth it :) Takes 'flying' to a whole new level - landings seem easier and I even did an A2A refuelling, not having done one in months first time, just because it feels easier.
  19. Definitely seeing a wobble (like ripples) in the hud on a few occasions .. seems to be when the sun is in the hud.
  20. Although a bit further to reach, the mini-stick push works, thanks ... now if only I could figure out how to do a mouse wheel on the HOTAS :)
  21. On a related topic, what do you do with the mouse left/right click? I've mapped the right/left mouse click to the rocker/hat? button on the Throttle in the UI layer?? This works well in other a/c, but on the Hog it means you can't to a lot of the TP/Mav handoffs etc. and I was wondering what you use.
  22. Really getting into this great plane in DCS and a couple of things seem odd: * I can map TDC left/right/upbut not down! I guess the proper answer is to map it to the axis control on the throttle. * I use a OR and can't figure out how can I turn the HSI course and heading dial? I have mouse wheel up/down mapped to a 3 pos button on my Warthog throttle, but if I click it it only moves the knob a small amount, about 2 degrees. So if I need to dial in a 90 change I have to click the button 45 times :( Anyway you can map an auto-repeat on a button? I've tried changing press to down in the lua, but can't see much difference. Thanks, James
  23. Did a remove module and add module and then a quick test ... I started in the cockpit, so looks to be fixed. Thanks for your quick response BIGNEWY.
