Also check out this great guide! There's a link to PDF in the end with working pictures. "This document covers the sharing of data in the Kamov Ka-50 with a focus on the transmission and reception from the A-10C." http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=86752&highlight=ka-50+a-10c+data

Yes it's a tire and the only photos where I see an engine, the blades look intact. Nothing of the debris looks like fan blades. -

According to avherald and ASN 5 people have been killed. Diveplane, what makes you think of fan blades? I see nothing of that kind. -

Ka-52 with bombs. http://russianplanes.net/id94299 -
I don't think the dynamic rollover is due to the design of the helicopter but rather the surface modeling in the sim. If there's enough friction between the gear and ground or somekind of obstacle to prevent movement in the direction of roll, it should happen to any helicopter.

Russian Air Force Photos and Video (NO DISCUSSION)

The remark says "21 white preparation for the night flight to the bombing ranges" right under the photo. They propably have very large stockpiles of weapons that are aging. Also in this vid they explain that blowing up old ordnance will be stopped and they will rather be used for real or disassembled. Propably doesn't have anything to do with air force though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnR2fCHYXEc -

Off Centre trim for straight and level cruising
Griffin replied to Essah's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
This is normal due to the dissymmetry of lift. A little right rudder is also needed. It's even more pronounced on helicopters with conventional tail rotor as on the coaxial the rotors cancel each other for most of the part. EDIT: Damnit. -
Military and Aviation News Thread (NO DISCUSSION)
Griffin replied to topol-m's topic in Military and Aviation
Yeah I've heard that there are more cameras on Russian dashboards than navigators. When you watch the videos from their roads, it's quite obvious why. I've never feared for my life like on Russian roads... You can find hours and hours of crash compilations on Youtube. Just search something like "Russian crashes". Crazy vid indeed. -
I hope ED will use their authority to make sure the products represent their real world counterparts as closely as possible. I understand that other things are more vital during the beta but we don't want some fantasy chopper in the final. Not in DCS. Thank you for the update! I don't mind the delay as nothing new in aviation industry comes on budget or on time. I always add a few months to the dates given and enjoy pleasant surprises if they come on time.

Same happened in Finland this year. They tried to demolish the silos for several days. Someone even made a T-shirt.

Bookmarking a secured/passworded PDF document
Griffin replied to Griffin's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thanks! It's not anything secret but will have to find out if this is ok. Other methods would be appreciated too. -
I have a training material PDF from work that I like to use sometimes for reference. It's about 1000 pages and of course not bookmarked by the authors. It's also secured/passworded so I can't do it in Adobe Acrobat. So is there any way I could create my own bookmarks for it in Acrobat or external software? Doesn't any software create overlay/external bookmarks that don't modify the original? I couldn't find anything on Google.

Funny comment on this photo. "What's really happening here?
