You should watch the video. It explains it pretty well even if it is in Russian. It seems to detect any missile but the countermeasure system works only for IR missiles. Oh thanks for the explanation. It's of course an enormous project for one man to create a fully functional F-18, so it would be more than enough to make it up to FC2 standard and perhaps slap the FC2 radar code onto it with A2G functionality if possible without any crazy effort. The 6DOF cockpit is awesome enough for FC2 use and we would be grateful for a flyable F-18 with an actual F-18 cockpit instead of Su-27. Great work man!

I really hope this is true. It's made by a Finnish guy who, according to my simming friend, has done some great mods for alot of other sims too. If you check out this video, you can see a very early WIP cockpit with nothing but ADI and VSI.

I assume every Finnish simmer is now sitting with wet pants! This is amazing! Never knew it was possible to mod the sim to that extent. I wish all the best to the creator and hope it will be released someday!

Damn! Thats's bloody awesome! Providing it will have a decent flight model and better AI than in Black Shark, I think the ol' Sharky might need to make room for this.

Are these AI features going to be updated to Black Shark? Logically they will of course be the same in the DCS multiplayer environment but will the AI improve also in BS single player? I don't expect all the same features like mission editor and stuff like that to be fully transferred to BS. Just wondering if the AI will be improved for BS too so it would finally be worth trying single player campaigns.

I haven't been much of a fan of this Finnish band but a couple of their tracks strike me. They know how to beautifully combine cello and metal music. Pretty cool.

What's the difference? I thought mods are now completely "unisex". Thanks once again Mustang! Your work is priceless.

I've read that in Sweden it's possible to take a ride in a Gripen during a routine, 15 min or so, training flight. You make an application and get onto a small course, take medical examinations and it costs around 500 € (five years ago). So you basically pay your share of the cost of the flight.

On many planes, including western, the speed indication doesn't start to move until you reach for example that 90 km/h.

Rest assured it will be first class flight model simulation. This was already evident in Ka-50 as it is no doubt the best and most advanced helicopter physics simulation.

Hi! I have Logitech Freedom 2.4 which is basically the same stick but wireless. My settings: 20 % curvature for both X and Y axis and zero deadzone. You might want to put like 1 or 2 deadzone for rudder but I don't remember how I kept it when I didn't have pedals.
