    hi! Like in the F-5, I would love to see the sight camera available for other aircraft like the F16 and F18, 'tape to the hud' adding also the MFD recording as option if available on that aircraft, like in the F-18. Then also make it available externally on our saved games folder as movie file. Ideally having a datacard, save it there. I believe it will increase squadron debriefs quality, and help creating promotional/marketing videos for DCS as well. Also, not having it mandatory shown when flying could be an option, even if saving the file. Thanks for the passion and dedication Diplomat

    Hey guys I've been trying to solve this for a while, hope someone can help me solve this here. ED troubleshoot - done ED Ticket - done ED - email support - done Reinstalled DCS from scratch - done (and also lost many personal missions and key binds on the way :/) Still no clue. Provided solution is: use a VPN, contact my ISP. Details. Nothing changed on my side, no significant updates that I know, nor any new software, and DCS stopped logging in. It's not the first time this happens, last time, someone in ED TechSupport was able to do something internally, about a year ago. Message is as follows as per dcs.log, attached: >>> ERROR NET: HTTP request dcs:settings failed with error 7: Couldn't connect to server The solution provided was to use a VPN and it works indeed, however, it's a payed service that I don't want to use and I don't have to, to play DCS. I live in Malta. When using a VPN I'm able to connect and noticed that these two servers are used: I'd say that the servers or any policy in regards to the connection to these servers has changed because now I can't get authenticated, obviously. What I can't find is the solution to be able to enjoy DCS without the soar VPN solution, which is btw, expiring soon.     True, although they share the same map and also btw, because using VR with ME can be a must as well in my pov. Using kneebord is good sometimes, the layout could be improved but that's another topic. And also sometimes during missions, we might meed info we don't have using the Kneeboardif we're not flying with GCI.

    another suggestion. When flying with VR in my case, during night ops, when changing to the F10 Map it has a big impact to my eyes so I'd suggest to create a DARK MODE to ME. Tkx!

    Hi guys, trying to be constructive here, I found an enormous amount of topics and I believe we can all share our wishes for the Mission Editor in one place. I haven't found any recent one about ME but pls if there is one feel free to move this one there or delete it (letting me know would be great). For now I'll start with this one: - be able to save coalitions presets and use them later. Every time we start a new mission we have to create the coalitions and maybe also, within a campaign, the coalitions might change. So it would be great to quick access those by opening and saving the presets. - be able to UnDo/ReDo some steps, at least 2-10 would be awesome. How many time we delete a group or just a name by mistake and we wish we had an Undo option right? Many thanks guys.

    Hi guys! I can't find a solution for this, I'd say it's on the lua file but I really can't find the answer for it. I'm chasing my tail now. Any tips to add the correct textures / "remove the non-shinny sticker markers" from the nose and tail? thank you!

    smoke pods work just like sidewinders, just instead of being fired, they release smoke ;) so every procedure is the same.

    Hi guys! Seems that this is a thread used for the F-5E updates... I'd love to see the radar updated and AGM-65 Maverick added... Northrop Grumman Photo of the F-5 below.     Hi guys! I'm creating this livery, half-way completed, I'm stuck with this detail at the moment, hopefully someone have already had this issue marked in yellow in the attached screenshot. I have different skin there, I can't access it and it's not on the dds skin file nor the specular file either. I wonder, is it referenced somehow as a standard location for numbers and logos, that should be described in the description.lua file? I'm around this for days now and couldn't find a solution yet.     I just talked with BIGNEWY as well on Discord, here's my log attached The interesting thing is that I was on a server (Havoc) then I left that one to enter a new one and that's when it happened. I keep waiting for the list to be populated but the game freezes. (CPU still is active on DCS thou ~20%) I've done integrity check, restarted the computer several times, my AV and firewall is windows 10 STD. I'm using RIFT S. :pilotfly: cheers guys! Albatroz

    I saw this thread also in this forum, that I share if anyone needs more info "DCS Cockpit Triggers Guide Available" https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=81376 Another thing I'm now digging into it is to use the model's parameters and not its cockpit model parameters. I want now to trigger based on other variables than speed, altitude or heading, as for example 'electrical system X ON/OFF' or 'COM1 value' etc. I'm now understanding how DCS works so hopefully I'll share how to do it here soon. If anyone wants to save me some time and let me know that would be great =) Thank you all, I'm loving this journey

    hi guys. I searched but found nothing about this regarding the F/A-18. (If there's a link pls let me know and delete this thread if necessary.) Though I'd like to know the parameter list for each aircraft so I can trigger properly missions for individual aircraft / helicopter. Simple example master battery is ON, trigger when UNIT PARAMETER VALUE XXX EQUALS XXX thanks for the help, Hoping this makes DCS a better place to live in =) sry to have joy in. :pilotfly:
