when you have a point in litening, press tms up long to make spi. then go to maverick mfd and press china hat fwd long to slave all sensors to your spi. now the mav should be looking directly at the spi you set up before via the litening tgp. tms up short to lock. For the narrow view, press china hat fwd short. You can look up the commands and rebind them in the controls menu.

I demand it! Flying inverted under bridges is already hard, as you only got like 10 seconds to finish your maneuver before the engines cut out :joystick:

Well the R/UGM-109E Tomahawk Block IV is capable of performing a few turns over the target area, scanning for targets. The advantage of having a pilot performing this task in a a10 is his higher situational awareness, comes in handy when there are your own troops on the ground. A10 is hardly SEAD or anything, it's low speed and high manouverability make it the perfect CAS aircraft. CAS (with proper FAC) is not the case in Lybia, no a-10s needed. Ofc it could be done, but I would imagine there'd be a lot of blue on blue when the hogs start roaring in. Fire in the air and see what happens :lol:

Getting lucky. With just an HE warhead you will never penetrate armor. In RL a lot of flying metal also means a high probability of damage on both equipment and soldiers. The shaped charge in the mk5 does only work when hitting the vehicle directly though.

Rockets are mainly used as relatively inaccurate artillery. Sniping with them wont work very good, it's better to double ripple 3 or 4 at the same time against groups of light armor. It's also better to ripple them while flying at a steep angle so they wont spread out as much. Practice is all behind it ;)

I think maintaining max power is not the problem. Shutting the engine down quickly from max power seems to be a bad as they're probably running very hot then, followed by rapid, uneven cooling... just guessing :thumbup:

I think they introduced this against piracy - many pirated games can't be played online, but there are applications to simulate a lan network. So they prevented that. Ofc, this doesn't affect singleplayer which could still be played with pirated version, so in my humble opinion the gain is minimal from introducing a master server. By the way, this is not the first thread concerning this topic. A developer told us he would bring it up in a meeting, and that we should voice our opinion. This doesn't affect me, but I surely can understand people angered by this restriction.

Well I haven't tried it with 1.0 yet but in the betas, just like in BS, power lines do no damage to the aircraft's hull. Except beheading the Shark of course :music_whistling: That thing drops like a stone without rotors, wonder why :pilotfly:

Happened to me before, but first flight in beta 2 and it already ripped off. Crew chief is gonna go nuts :(

IMHO you don't know the meaning of situational awareness if you haven't tried out headtracking ;)
