I tried, this method and unfortunately this did not work, AI still breaks way before even going over the carrier, so idk what to do at this point other than to scrap the scene I want to get. or have to get another human player in to shoot the scenes I need with AI aircraft that I need to perform specific actions.   2. I'm also running OB 2.8.8.43704 no mods, again for me the aircraft turns before it gets to the carrier, I've even did a repair of the OB before replying to your post and the same thing happens. So I have no clue why it's doing what it's supposed to do for you and not for me. Though I will try as quoted by the previous person to set it's landing spot to an airbase and see if that fixes it for me at least. Even on your track file it does the same thing. Breaks before going over the carrier, so I guess it's a bug on my end, Ill provide a quick youtube link to what I'm seeing so you can see with the track file you provided. https://youtu.be/ZiwVbcHT_h4 In the video you can clearly see the aircraft breaking way before going over the carrier before proceeding to way point 2.   3. Yes Aircraft has full fuel + 3 external tanks, so it's not a fuel issue. Just seems no matter what I do, It doesn't follow way point instructions and breaks before hitting the first way point and starts to orbit in an attempt to land. Doesn't also seem to matter if I select turning point or flyover for the way point option in the mission editor. I have attached it, I removed the player aircraft as that seems to make no difference at all. f18c2.miz
  4. Hello all, not sure if this is a bug or not or if I'm just doing something wrong. I'm trying to get some cinematic shots for a video I'm making. The shot is I want an AI F18 to pass half way over the carrier deck and than break off. I set three way points, one right where the break is to happen, one to the left, and another one further down. all way points are set to flyover, even when i have it selected for turning point, either or, the AI breaks before even getting to the carrier and want's to land despite I've given no instruction in the way points in the mission editor to do so. Again this a bug or just something I'm doing wrong?
  5. I don't use the MT for my VR. I have been using only the standard launcher not the MT version. and this issue happens on every map not just Syria. I have a PNY 3070 8GB 32GB DDR4 @ 3200MHZ Ryzen 7 5800X OC @ 4.8GHZ
  6. Just got into DCS VR and boy wow, loving it, though which much headaches and trial and error to get the settings right in order to be able to play it. Though one thing is a constant, I get really good stable FPS in cockpit/other views, however, the moment i open the f10 map than go back to F1 or any other view, the frame rates drop below playable, i have to close the game completely and restart it in order to fix it. Anyone else experienced this issue? I have seen other people on Reddit having the same problem but these post were from 1+ year ago and cannot find any current info. If needed to I can provide a video showing the frame rate drop as when I did a track file replay there wasn't an issue with it.

Not sure if this has been posted or not yet or if this is a bug or normal radar operation post 2.8 When at a alt higher than the hostile even over the water where no radar interference from ground clutter, the radar seems to be unable to detect the target until about 27-30NM. I do have AWACS on to provide data link. When below the target the radar can detect the target at roughly 40NM. Please see track files and advise if this is a bug or is this is how the radar now is supposed to operate? This was not happening pre 2.8 beta f16abovetarget.trk f16belowtarget.trk
  8. Hello, so I'm having this issue now and note I was not having it before the latest update, through many different tests with different aircraft, all having the same issue. When I want to watch replays, such as doing an airshow for example, when I go into F11 or even LCtrl+F11 free view, the padlock will either not lock onto the aircraft or it will lock onto an ambiguous space way Infront of the aircraft that is not even an object, it's like it locks onto the aircraft but forces the camera way out front it making the plane completely unviewable. Has anyone else have or had this issue that knows how to fix it?
  9. You have to move them into Idle during your start procedure after you crank your engines up, start with the right engine crank when at temprature you need to move it to idle. Shortcut key is RAlt+Home for the right i believe and RShift+Home for the left engine, if im mistaken than just flip the two for left and right. Right engine should always be first for 18 as this is what provides the power for all your systems.
  10. Anytime in the future maybe we could have the option to add on Canards, such as like the MirageIIIS/F-29/IAI Kfir Mirage variants. like have the option to select the default stubs or the full out Canards in the mission editor or weapon loading screen in game?
  11. Not sure if anyone else has posted this or not but I am unable to zoom in and out with the tgp in the A10C II I have TGP set as SOI. Use DMS Aft and Fwd but TGP does not zoom at all. All I am able to do is do FOV with the China hat to get a closer look. In original A10C TGP zoom works correctly with same functions.
  12. I am having the same issue, espeically with the AGM-65H is very bad. I set the Mav to Area track, lock the target with the TGP, hands off fine the first and ONLY time. I undesignate the target, put my next mav in area mode, find a new target with TGP, Designate the target, TGP fails to hand off, Mav stays locked onto first target. each shot is attempted at a range between 15-10 miles, well within the H models gimble limit. TGP just fails to hand off the target after the first shot.

  14. Okay, yes I raged a bit, but I'm not the only one who is hating it, maybe I just made it more out there than others. I don't really care too much about the HMD, I would just hope they change the NVG back to green. I can't hardly see anything due to the greyscale, I'm not color blind, but I do have a condition to where it's very difficult for me to see things in greyscale, or just blacks and whites in general, I can't even drive my car at night because I get blinded by headlights very easily due to the high contrast of white lights. My eyes just can't adjust normally like the average person does, i either see it as too black or too white. it's extremely hard for me to just use TGP normally much less at night, it takes me a lot of time to just adjust it right to barley even see. So now I can't see jack crap when flying at night, which is something i enjoy, which now I can't really do because I can't see anything unless i just leave the NVG off.
  15. Please in the next patch or hotfix, please change NVG back to green. Also why can we only carry one or the other between HMD and NVG, this is not in the patch notes at all. This has caused nothing but headaches. Please change this back, It's frustrating playing at night and bad enough hard to see, but now I ONLY HAVE 1 OPTION TO PICK EITHER NVG OR HMD??? Why not just remove the AIM-9X as well now without HMD and NVG at the same time it's virtually useless. Thank you!

  17. Just updated to newest patch and still cannot see any servers under just IPv4, I still have to have IPv6 enabled for the servers to show up. Anyone else still having this issue. Extremely frustrated that I have to enable ipv6 and have my full public IP out there just to play a game. Tried repairing... Running game with out firewall on... All ports are forwarded on my router... UPNP is on. So i don't know what the issue is as I thought this was supposed to have been fixed.
  18. It's not just the radar bar that is broken but the degree scan as well. Doesn't do the typical 20, 40 degree left to right scan.

  20. Latest update of the patch, if you have a TGP pod on the hornet and switch to AA mode it automatically comes on the LEFT MFD instead of the stores page.
  21. Same here, no MP servers after update, cant even connect via direct IP. None of my network settings have changed and game worked fine pre update. Stable works fine, rolled back to previous beta and works fine.
  22. It's not the SA page its self that's the problem. Its the countermeasure quantity display on it that causes the FPS drop. If you turn your dispense switch off while the SA page is on you wont get a FPS drop. So in simple terms, you can either have the SA page and no countermeasures, or have countermeasures and no SA page.
  23. SA Page with CM disspence switch on FPS Drop Not sure if this has already been posted or not. At first I thought it was just the SA page in general that was causing FPS drop. However it seems to be that the countermeasure dispense switch is what causes the lag when it displays on the SA page your CH and FL quantities. This causes a huge FPS drop for me. Running at 70-90FPS takes me down to 10-15FPS when on. When off I run at normal. Attached is the track file and the log file. Also link to recording of FPS Drop.
