Hi folks! I am a bit annoyed by that knob as it takes ages to set the course needle. Sometimes it doesn't even react to turning it. I wanted to keybind this thing but can't find it in the menue. Can someone please direct me to it and free me from that suffer!

New part of Pandemic Had no problems until mission 7 but then I had to patch it with 2.5.6 version

And it still is! Been doing mission 4 and 5 of Deployment and these night flights are so cool! Nothing comes close to this campaign in terms of atmosphere.

I am starting to record Deployment and in my opinion it is the best Black Shark campaign after all.

For anybody stumbling about this thread like I did in 2021. The mission is not impossible. Did finish it in 2.7

Do you start your helo in your own or auto start? Maybe you missed a system and the game does not flag you as "ready". Try auto engine start.

That's at least something to start with! THX. Now I need to figure out a factor for the influence of loadout. I guess in the end I will only get close to the perfect solution, as things can change rapidly with circumstances, but getting close as possible is fine for me.

Hello! I want to write a little app that calculates fuel load depending on loadout/weight, expected travel distance and avg altitude, but I have a hard time to find infos that I could transform into a calculation algorithm. Can someone Point me on any kind of database that I could use. I don't have the time to test those things out.

Is there any workaround for FPS hits caused by smoke? When I do the Haifa Dispatch mission in the Huey my FPS are melting whenever I land close to smoke marked LZ. Also when I fire Vikhr missiles in the Ka-50 the fps drop by 20 frames.

I can't remember that mission, but auto start takes exactly 3 minutes

Mission 4, this time in VR. I don't know If or when I will record more of the campaign. Had some days off where I did this, but now I will be more busy.

Mission 3 is online and 4 is already recorded. Still have mixed feelings about this campaign.

So I tried to record mission 3 but I think I give up and accept, that I have just wasted my money. You have to accompany a convoi that will be attacked by mortar fire. I get the order to kill those. OK. Head over killed everything. No more attack on the convoi, but the convoi does not move and the game gives no feedback at all. Waited some time, reinspected the areas and then left. Finished it now and will upload at the weekend maybe

Hey guys! I made a YT video of mission 2 of the Pandemic campaign. The sound is subpar. Still tweaking the mic.

I would at this point recommend to wait for a sale. I would not mind the quality of the voice acting but it's only the bare minimum. And that's not ok, If you compare that to other campaigns and consider the price point. Mission one is only a 15 minute flight through the dessert. There are two Mi-24 with you. Why No radio Chatter? Why no forced formation flight? Trigger zones are set to small. In my first flight of mission one I landed inside the camp, nothing happened. Did shut down the engine. Nothing. OK. Exit the mission. Fail. WTF? So I had to this boring thing again. Mission two I have done three times now and every time some triggers did not happen. Today killed everything nothing happens. Did fly over the road block and camp. Everything dead. Nothing left on F10 map. OK RTB. In my way back by accident hit a trigger zone, air strike inbound. Fine. RTB, landed nothing happens. Shut down, exit, fail? m( ATM very disappointed.

I would like to know how long the sorties are round about. If they are rather short, I would give it a go for sure, but If the average exceeds 1 hour by far I would stay away from it. Thanks for any feedback on this.

Hi! While I realy enjoy the BS2 itself, the wingman in the missions is just retarded. If I fly low level he will crash into trees, buildings, or whatever obstacle is available. If he survives untill we reach a hot zone, he will die as soons as I send him out to recon the area as he mindless flys into trees. Is there a way to fix that?

Had the chance to try it out and for VR it is a massiv improvement. If you ED guys read this, thank you very much! And a big thank you to you community guys. This feature takes away a huge source of frustration. I was close to let down on the sim because of the spotting in VR.
