Might be you, by accident double tab the trim button wich will then reset the trim. Nice. For preventing from VRS See my post above.

I guess you should point out the lack of optical and auditiv feedback in the transition in other words the shaking wich imo is lacking due to EA status and might be implemented later on. To the OP: Slow down by instruments. Reduce collective, raise your nose just so high that VVI stays at 0. Try not to exceed 20 degrees pitch attitude. When at 20 degrees VVI goes down add collective gently and maintaine alt. Watch speed. At 100kph be aware to bring in even more collective as loss of TL is close. As you have to do that by instruments until visual and auditive clues are implemented or you can do it by muscle memory it is not a good technique for areas where you have to worry about manpads and such, as you loose SA. Be patient. Just because a heli can go in any direction it's not a space shuttle and it will take time to slow down.

@kotor633 wenn die Verlängerungen nicht so übertrieben teuer wären hätte ich schon längst eine. 50 Euro plus für ein Rohr und nen 3 Euro Stecker finde ich echt übertrieben.

@Hobel ich bin letztens erst auf der MFG Seite gewesen und hab die Damper entdeckt. Sind aber zZ out of stock sonst hätte ich sie bestellt. An den TE. Ich benutze die Crosswind jetzt seit locker einem Jahr und bin höchst zufrieden. Musste bisher nur einmal alle Schrauben an belastungsintensiven Teilen nachziehen und die Federn der Fußbremse mit WD40 einsprühen weil sie etwas knarzten. Aber nach der Pflege sind die Pedale wieder wie neu. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung.

Na wie gesagt Kurven mag ich nicht. Theoretisch kannst Du bei der Gazelle sogar bis 50 runter gehen in der Sättigung. Du verlierst zwar den maximalen Throw aber das sind Bereiche in die der Steuerknüppel eigentlich ohnehin nie gehen muss.

Mach mal bitte folgendes. Geh bei der Gazelle in die Achsen und setze bei Pitch und Roll die Sättigung der Y-Achse auf 60. Das sollte die Lady etwas umgänglicher machen. Keine Kurven. Die sind böse XD Die Gazelle ist dank ihres offenen Cockpits super für Rundflüge und macht richtig viel Spaß wenn man sie mit viel Gefühl fliegt.

Yes I made it. You can watch the fps in the upper left corner in the cockpit views. Bottom line was 40 max was 70. RTX 2080, I7 8700, 32GB RAM. Everything high, MSAA x2, AF x8, UWQHD res.

Theoreticly it should be there on the stable version. Or not?

I managed to take off vertical at 108% multiple times. May be very hard at about 2500m ASL but so far it was not a huge problem.

This is the third of 4 Videos on our road to master the vertical landing in the DCS Mi-24P. We put the steps together that we have practiced in the last two videos and perform our vertical landing. I also adjusted the training mission a little bit once more. I set a lower hight and speed for the landing clients, to make it a little bit more easy for you guys. I also added a carrier to give a more easy version to practice landing on a moving ship.

Only pitch and roll. At least from what I have observed.

Next training part is online. This time we practice out of ground effect hover. Transition to forward flight, maintaining a desired air speed and transition back to out of ground effect hover. In the next video we will put these parts together to perform our vertical landing. I hope this helps some of you guys to improve your flying skills and as always, feedback is welcome. I did edit the Hover mission a little bit and now you can choose between a heavy and a light weight chopper so you can feel the difference and dont need to edit in the ME. The heavy one had 6% overweight befor and has now 100% weight. Maybe the overweight is a little bit hard to begin with. I also added two slalom lanes, one slow track and one fast track. If anybody is realy good in ME maybe he or she can help me out a little bit. I have some ideas for that training area, but my ME skills are... ridiculous XD

Hi mate thanks for those kind words. The mission for download is related to the Hover Tutorial. It should be the one with the pylon lane. I will double check on that.
