Hi Bignewy No mate, just clicked ok on the update window and let it do its stuff as normal. Clicked on MP and the shield was red with mods/campaigns/dcs nttr a-10c red flag campaign/dcs_manifest.x86_64. Guessing I can delete the folder called "DCS NTTR A-10C Red Flag Campaign" and everything in it.

Am thinking I should delete it altogether because Red Flag is 2.0 I'm not even sure how that got in there unless the installer has copied files from my 2.0 install over to my 1.5.5 install?

Just updated DCS World to 1.5.5 and in multiplayer integrity has failed with: mods/campaigns/dcs nttr a-10c red flag campaign/dcs_manifest.x86_64 Tried repairing and still there. Any ideas?

You lot are talking about F16. There's not even ED talk of F18 which is being worked on! The fact there is no talk on F18 demonstrates how far away that module is, so we have zilch chance of F16!

Yup, you shouldn't be flying around with no friendly CAP. Look at the way the Red Flag SP missions play out to see how it should actually work. Way back in the day the 355th Flying Tigers (CAS), JaBoG32 (CAS and CAP) with and a load of other squads use to set-up campaign type missions including TS with whispers enabled to simulate CAS talking to CAP etc. God them were the days, and how it should be done :)

Anyone noticed the waypoint distance counter (hud and control panel) sometimes stops counting down during the red flag missions? Keep switching nav modes to get it working again.

I bought NTTR 23/9/15 giving me A10 and F15 Red Flag campaigns free. A10 "get seriel number" is not available yet in the e-shop.

The sound in your DCS attempt is very nicely done for the environment you chose (airfield in a wide open space). It is difficult to get sound right though because sound differs vastly depending on environment e.g. it bounces like it would in those Mach loop valleys and be different again 20 clicks up and different yet again in a wide open space at 500ft AGL. So long as the sounds are realistic / immersive in cockpit (which I believe they are in DCS 2.0) I'm happy.

YES! After playing Red Flag 16-2, I get a real sense of what Nevada is all about and true planning and discipline in flying, it's awesome. HOWEVER... It has only left me wondering ... IMAGINE what this map would be like if all those other aircraft (F18, F16, GR4, F15E) involved in Red Flag were flyable, my goodness, there'd be no matching this sim.

Yes, I ordered in Sept 2015 also because if you purchased NTTR before Oct 1st 2015, you get both F15 and A10 red flag campaign's free. F15 16-2 showing as $9.99 in my module manager? Some peeps in this thread are confusing NTTR being free for A10C Beta buyers, which was true. That's all they get free though, NTTR. They have to buy the campaigns separately.

I pre-ordered NTTR in Sept 2015 as I'm sure I read you get F15 and A10 red flag campaign free. It's showing as $9.99 in my module manager??

Geeeeeeez ... the trees are collidable in DCS Nevada! Flying my A10C down the strip looked like the ending scene to Con-Air :D

Should DCS Nevada be this colour on the instant action > weapons practice mission? Notice the mountains are one colour and flats different? Hardware below in sig.

Multiplayer is already dynamic, e.g. Multiplayer designers should start with a finite amount of (non respawning) assets e.g. -HQ’s x1 -Fuel depot x1 (key roads and bridges to airstrips) -Weapons cache x1 (key roads and bridges to airstrips) -Airstrips x3 Military resources and hardware: -Air defences x?? -Infantry x?? -Engineers x?? -X3 KA50 -x6 SU25 -x6 SU27 -x2 AWACS -2x Tanker etc -key roads and bridges YOU GET THE IDEA.. We need a slot inside our multiplayer servers called: BattleCommander who can see everything from a console including maps, how many planes he has left, how much fuel and weapons he has left at x airstrip, whether to send a tanker up etc. He should have a command prompt to talk to his AI units to move fuel and weapons around and VOIP built into DCS to talk to players directing them to protect his assets, or attack the OpFor assets etc etc Would actually be quite a blast to play BattleCommander and quite pressuring too And then I woke up, feel free to delete this post lol

F2 view on your own KA50 does NOT show heat blur. Pan to your wingman and heat blur is there (on your wingman's aircraft).

Thanks guys, that .cfg file at least now allows me to stay in a server for more than 5mins :) I'm still seeing weird streaks a grey or brown from sky to ground now and again ... weird.

Apologies guys/girls. I've never altered/created any files in my DCS directories. Can I suggest one of the devs, create a file and post it in here for people to copy > paste into the correct DCS folder? I've created the .cfg file now, but some people 'may' need more of a hand.
