I agree you should give the beta a try it has it's problem true but at least you get to experience the new features/models as they come on line. Waiting on a stable update can be a long long wait. I went beta and never looked back. Give it a try, you have nothing to loose but frustration of waiting for a stable update.
I agree with you I have never used the Game/Arcade mode. I also understand it could be used as a tool to help new people experience this hobby and eventually move into the study sim. I'm good with it either way.

I agree man that's a nice desk mount, it would be nice if they would give their customers a little advance notice, either on this forum, their forum or some sort on new letter, it would definitely be one to consider while considering a purchase.
I agree with most of the positive and negative comments mentioned in the video and this fourm so I will not repeat them. I just hope ED will take them in a constructive way and eagerly start making the necessary improvements. They know the feelings and thoughts of their customers, now let's see where things go from here...
I found this information in the A1-F18AC-NFM-000 (page 330)and thought it might be helpful.

maintain directional control throughout the takeoff roll. Differential braking alone may not be
adequate to maintain directional control on takeoff. Also, the drag of the brakes increases the length
of the takeoff roll.
