Considering there is absolutely no overlap between aircrafts modeling and map creation I can't see why they should stop working on a new theater. If I'm not mistaken, the person in charge of the map in not involved with the current planes sold by Razbam.

I've been playing with the mission editor this week and I could swear I saw the dirt walls in there. When I saw them I even thought about how nice it would be to use them as protection for Insurgent forces. I'll have to give another look tomorrow.

At the moment, the only release date is "When it's done".

A few weeks ago I was flying formation at Mach 2.3, FL400. Launched the game a few seconds ago and achieved the same result over the Strait of Hormuz. I'm running the stable release.

From what I read on Checksix (the main portal for french simmers), several people including the head of the project for the Armée de l'Air said that the main goal for them was to train actual pilots to procedures and not learning how to use the aircraft itself. While they agreed that the flight model is good they didn't said it was accurate, that's a big difference to be noted. But hey ! If it's good enough for real pilots, it's good enough for me. Razbam is doing a great job with the Mirage ; after a short hiatus they resumed their work and made the Mirage one of the most interesting plane to fly on DCS World. I don't think we should expect any change for the flight model, it would surely lead to disappointment.

Baltic Dragon is going to update the manual and some of the training missions once Razbam is done with the Mirage overhaul. Meanwhile you can watch the video Razbam uploaded on their Youtube channel to show the new radio.

Hello ! Il y a eu effectivement pas mal de changements dernièrement et malheureusement ces changements n'ont pas été documentés pour le moment - ni dans la documentation anglaise, ni française. Je n'ai pas souvenir d'avoir vu de tuto en français mis-à-jour sur YouTube. Tout d'abord pour s'assurer de pouvoir utiliser l'armement sans problème, il faut bien vérifier que les nouvelles fonctions HOTAS présentes dans le menu des contrôles ont bien été assignées aux périphériques de jeu. Il ne suffit plus d'appuyer sur les touches du PCA pour faire basculer la VTH dans le mode attaque. Pour mettre en œuvre l'armement Air-Air il faut exclusivement passer par les trois boutons du mode HOTAS assigné au périphérique : CNM AA/CNM MAGIC/CNM Neutral (PCA Select). Les sélecteurs HOTAS CAN et MAG sélectionnés à partir du périphérique sélectionneront automatiquement l'armement et basculeront la VTH dans le mode approprié (modes CAC et radar portée <10nm), le sélecteur HOTAS CNM Neutral permettra de revenir au mode Nav ou sélectionnera le 530 si le bouton approprié a été sélectionné sur le PCA. Pour mettre en œuvre l'armement Air-Sol, il faut sélectionner dans un premier temps l'armement AS au PCA, puis appuyer sur le bouton du périphérique associé à la fonction SystemCMD FWD. A ce moment la VTH basculera en mode attaque et affichera le pipper pour les passes CCIP / CCRP.

I think that most people are not aware that Ugra Media is the company responsible for some of the maps and assets of the IL-2 Great Battles franchise. They had a lot to do to deliver their Arras map and the 3D models units in time for the recent release of the WWI sim, Flying Circus. I'm sure they will add more manpower to the Syria map since their biggest project of the last two years has been completed. We still have plenty to do in the Caucasus and the Strait of Hormuz until flying over Syria. I'm confident we could see the Syrian theater coming to DCS by 2020.

The Mirage 2000C is still very active to this day and deployed on a daily basis to provide ground support in Africa. They are used with Mirage 2000D to provide canon fire on ground targets as the latter don't have this capability. That's probably why the Armée de l'Air decided to equip them with NVG at last.

Is there any news about an update to the stable release ? The last time it was updated was on September 10th.

Salut Joemax, Oui, j'étais dans ton cas avec plusieurs installations de DCS et j'ai décidé il y a quelques temps de ne conserver qu'une seule version. J'ai simplement désinstallé les autres versions de ma machine et récupérer ainsi pas mal d'espace sur mon disque dur. Tu remarqueras après la désinstallation que des répertoires restent toutefois présent à la racine de ton dossier Eagle Dynamics. Tu peux les supprimer manuellement également sans risque (c'est dans ces répertoires que se trouvent les replays et les screenshots entre autres).

Hello Razbam, I finally decided to create an account to follow your work through this forum and I am slowly subscribing to selected threads to keep things easier when I need to know what's new about my favorite module. Do you think you could create a locked thread where you post the latest news about the Mirage like Wags do with the Hornet and the Viper ? It would be much easier for us to find the last official word about current development, future items being worked on, etc. I do follow you on Discord but sometimes it can be challenging to follow all the discussions going on over there, and I know I can easily miss one information shared by one of you. Having such a thread would be the place to check on a regular basis without having to sort all the "noise" around announcements. Thank you guys !
