There's nothing wrong with this as they continue the work on these modules. They have demonstrated, at least for the Mirage (I don't fly the Harrier), that they are willing to go back to the drawing table and do important modifications (new 3D cockpit and revision of the weapon system logic). They even mentioned several months ago that a revamp of the 3D model would come at a certain point. I love your gif though xD

The Air Combat Sim podcast published today an interview of Ron (Prowler). There is a wide variety of topics discussed. Here's a link to the interview : For those who can't listen to it, I made a transcription and gathered the informations by topic on this link. A lot of new informations about the Harrier, the Falklands, the Sea Harrier and an upcoming british carrier, the F-15E, etc. ... An excellent episode overall !

According to Ron who gave an interview to the Air Combat Sim podcast (published today), the Bronco is a low priority project. Nothing else to report for now as it is a personal project from Prowler (Ron).

Did you experienced the ATC in that other sim we can't talk about ? All the points you've mentionned are there, so I assume this is not an impossible task for ED to implement it someday in DCS.

I can't see how realistic the actual Strait of Hormuz map is either. As always with the DCS environment we have discrepancies between map, planes and assets ; the timeline is blurred and/or wrong. DCS World is as good as what we make of it (any additional help from ED is welcome though). Regarding the Marianas, if we take into account the latest Pentagon studies, they confirmed previous analysts reports that the US would be defeated by China in case of an open armed conflict - the case of Guam is treated in these scenarios (these informations have been leaked last week, let's wait for the Pentagon's 2020 China military power report, due for this summer, and read it). While these studies is also a way for officials to gain additional funds for their branch, it is a stark reminder that these scenarios are not pure science fiction or a distant threat in time. Using the Marianas islands as a theater of war is as good as using the Caucasus or the Strait of Hormuz maps or even better as we will finally have a true blue water engagement.

Thank you for your feedback, we really need those since all the Youtubers and streamers never had the chance to post their final review of the product.

I don't fly the OB. But from what I heard and read lately, the work done in the past weeks has improved a lot the Mirage's radar. I'm not surprise by the fact that a 80's era nimble fighter can't track another fighter at 40+ nm. Have you tried to create a quick mission with different aircrafts of different size at the same distance ? I bet you will pick up larger fighters (like Flankers or Tomcats) and bombers at those distances.

There's no such things as a "public -5F" regarding the Mirage. If Razbam and the Armée de l'Air find a common ground and Razbam can deliver the aircraft in a reasonable time frame, the plane the AA will get will be the same we'll fly. The goal is to make good use of our community to fund the -5F development, so they can save money on a new training platform.
-
What branch are you flying ? Stable, Open Beta ? Plus, if you're trying to track a fighter size target at 40nm with the Mirage you will certainly have a hard time with it.
-
There's nothing Razbam can do about this. Instead of asking for Razbam to ruin their module, send these videos to the admins hosting the servers you're flying on. They are the people you need to convince to remove the wake option on their machine.

This is an impressive changelog, thank you to everyone involved in this project.

The website has some problem since a few days, if you email them they will be back to you within 24 hours with a quote. Once you agreed on the purchase, they'll contact you for the payment.

For those, like me, that does not have the skills to modify their TQS, they can have a go for the TUSBA from Real Simulator. Works like a charm.
-
One can hope. That could be one of the most interesting theater in DCS in m opinion.

Thank you for your reply Andrew. Considering where I live, that's a hefty 20% on top of the good value + 20% on top of the postage fee - an incredible $180 for delivering in Europe. That's A LOT.

I am about to pull the trigger. Does anybody knows if the customs are included in the freight cost displayed on the website ?

If Eagle Dynamics want to sell its products to chinese customers, they probably don't want to upset the authorities and "recognize" Taiwan as an independent faction. Much bigger companies are forced to bend their own policies to please the Party. I'm all about a Taiwanese faction,I even made some time ago a plea for a Strait of Taiwan map but I highly doubt we can get those.

I read some time ago on this board that it will eventually come some day. Nothing is set though.

Thank you for the hint !
