  1. I'm running both. Nirvana: Future FA18 preview mode :music_whistling:
  2. Space program doesn't make influential people even more rich and powerful, like bailouts and wars do, so it sits lower on the priority list. This mission cost only 2 billion and look what they achieved! We are all proud of them. Now imagine giving THEM 1 trillion instead wasting it on banksters/war profiteers.
  3. First we'd need persistent long-term battle campaigns, where you could jump into the action in any vehicle you have. Planes or ground armor. Ship battles are now done with missiles and planes, so i don't think we'd see ww2-style broadside gun action. It would be great to manage a fleet, then jump into a hornet and fly a mission yourself. I think that's the most exciting part of naval warfare. Or just let AI to do the management. So one part of the game would play like a strategy, if you want to, or let AI to do the strategy and you just fly/drive the missions AI or your MP commander prescribes you.
  4. There's no red triangle in multiplayer, so it's useful to know. And a great experience.
  5. A10 is not a one-pass-haul-ass aircraft, so why bother? You'll drop all your ordinance WAY before even using half the fuel.
  6. Very nice  and it's the same no matter the plane and weight. jst keep your VV on the threshold (or third wire ;)) and AOA in the green.
  7. That's why there's weapons training mission on the mission list. I've flown it countless times.
  8. 1. For every 1000 feet above ground, you must be 3 nautical miles from the runway. 2. Aim your velocity vector at the start of the runway. This is crucial. 3. Pitch the aircraft high enough for the AOA indexer to light green. 4. control the velocity vector position with throttle and AOA with pitch/trim. 5. Flare, if you're NOT flying the FA18. The beauty of this method is that it works in every airplane, and with any weight, but I cannot use any less jargon.
  9. No need to do the whole world, just a couple different theaters of operation.
  10. one A10 circling at +30000ft, transmitting SPIs to others and occasionally dropping an LGB, can be considered as an UCAV. With external tanks and full fuel load, you can go for hours and it looks quite the same as real CIA ops. Much more useful and fun than ai uav.
  11. Thanks! 37 euros on simmarket is over my budget, but this is just perfect.
  12. Kickstarters are meant for small indie or one-man-band developers, i don't think ED or IRIS, for example will do this. They'll more likely release some preorder beta, if the development takes longer and they need some extra credits for the final debugging and polish before release.
  13. What are the latest NATO requirements for Hungarian airforce, F-16s maybe?
  14. Yes you do, we're in 2012, embrace the technology. It's like a cellphone, how people used to enjoy playing sims without it is beyond me.
  15. I see no TS details, neither in the description and in the mission briefing.
  16. up/forward buttons are important action buttons, so every time you need to slave/mark/lock something, press up/forward.
  17. Majority of SEAD related work will be done by UCAVs and stealth fighters. Anyone doing initial sead with the A10c, deserves to be shot down.
  18. I assume the other 5% is the TM Warthog?
  19. I'll always go for the non-steam version of any kind of game, because steam is just another bugger between me and the game with the updating, fail to update, lost connections, forgotten passwords,... i had nothing but issues and lost time with it. I see no advantage whatsoever.
  20. That's the spirit, buy both cos that's the best stuff. If you don't, there will always be a nagging voice in your head every second you're not using this combo.
  21. wait till more stuff comes out, then people will migrate to world, at least for the sake of simplicity and keeping it all in one place. And don't forget, it's in beta phase.
  22. What i wanna know is who can cut a plywood to a 89,902 cm instead of rounding to 90 cm and be done with it. It's not a space shuttle we're building here.
