  1. That's a good way to make the Warthog stick less cold...
  2. This would be a great map, but it's again up to the designer, to make the missions.
  3. New maps besides Nevada? great news!
  4. We're talking 2015 and beyond for this stuff, right? DCS is definitely the future...
  5. Hopefully a DCS intro in 5 years time! All we need now, is a viper announcement...
  6. WAAY too early to talk about any kind of new maps other than Nevada and FA-18. But Korea would be my nr. 1 choice for many reasons, symmetrical warfare included.
  7. We can write this year off, so q2 2014 and onwards into 2015. Which is great, because the Oculus rift will be out for sometime and ED can deliver the support for it. And THAT will be worth the wait.
  8. If Rift would be available today, then the pressure on ED to support it would be understandable. But it's still a year away, so there's no need to hurry. More important things to do in the mean time.
  9. I see them like you said, two are MFD 2 and one is MFD 1 But i do map all my keys in autohotkey script (those on the 3rd mfd). There, all the buttons are tied to Windows indexing. I use Target only for led brightness control.
  10. If FSX@War eventually manages to put DC engine into FSX/Prepar3d, we have a winner.
  11. How's that military installation stopping banksters from seizing the land? Not much of use, is it...
  12. I discovered it when i needed to reload DSMS after rearming, where you need to bring up load page. Looks like no one RTFM
  13. We still need to see the keyboard, hotas and mfd buttons. Unless we'd have something like minority report gloves, which could be used for manipulating the virtual cockpit.
  14. Why swapping, just hold bottom bezel button on working MFD, then paste whatever function you need to display there.
  15. Does your computer boot normally even with USB hub plugged in?
  16. I imagine HMCS for pilots is revolution like TrackIR for us, since you get the data and mark targets anywhere you look, not just through the hud or TGP.
  17. First you have to select the button on the virtual panel you wish to assign a function. Then you choose keyboard in profile explorer, then go to output, interfaces, keyboard and send keys. Drag it into bindings and write the key combo {CONTROL}g. I know you have to have correct monitor selected in the upper row, if you're in DCS or keyboard screen, you won't see correct input/output.
  18. That how i see/use IRIS and VRS planes. Just as a training tool so when combat version comes, you should be very familiar with the plane (cockpit) and it's startup procedure. In harrier case it will be valuable to learn nozzles management and hovering, for example
  19. http://www.excalibur-publishing.com/streetcleaning.htm :megalol: Amazon agrees http://www.amazon.com/Street-Cleaning-Simulator-PC/product-reviews/B0051NPKS8/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1
  20. VRS: carrier landings (respect to those who are doing this for real) DCS: blowing stuff up in style
  21. Why not use oxy supply that 4th gen planes use? Is it not powerful enough or something?
