So, this happened last night - it literally just fell apart whilst on a very gentle Mi-8 flight. The SN# is 00197 so I've had some use out of it. From what I've read it's hard to epoxy back together due to the metal used, but I'm going to try it anyway. What are the options for replacing just the grip? Is the VIRPIL VPC MongoosT-50CM series the only option? VKB grips are only for the VKB base? I can't see where to buy just the grip from Thrustmaster, but given the poor quality of this part I don't really want to do this. Thanks.

No you don't.. Like the above post said, I have these settings from when I was using G25 pedals clutch/accelerator for rudder, before getting MFG.

In that DCS video I ended up being nose down 20deg because I'm anticipating the aircraft pitching up (flapback) which doesn't happen. You can run this test with 5,10,15,20 degrees - the outcome is the same. I just chose to upload that video. In the video below, you can see what the Cabri WANTS to do after gaining enough forward momentum and without correcting for it by applying forward cyclic. This is what I'm missing in the gazelle, unless it's exempt from this phenomenon? yZPBjx9rc44

This is one of my biggest issues, there is no flapback which IRL you really have to push the cyclic forward because the aircraft wants to lift. I'm training in a Cabri G2 which is no Gazelle, but it is a 3 blade rotor with a fenestron so I'd expect to see some similarities? Here's me the Cabri, with a fixed camera. I prefer the Mi-8 now, but the Huey was great for starting off flying virtual helicopters.

Even with the container set to 1000lb or 1500lb it still reacts like it has no weight. Setting it to 8818lb certainly gives it weight! But lifting the barrels at 1058lb they don't react the same way as the container set to 1000lb. The barrels had weight to them and were no problem. This screenshot was with the container at 1500lb. :joystick:

Confirmed with 220lb cargo container! The under slung load is OK when picking up, but when transitioning to forward flight this happens..

I think the log your looking for is in C:\Users\<you>\Saved Games\DCS.release\MissionEditor\logbook.lua I have mine set to invulnerable so it doesn't show a "dead" value..
