You're kidding right? It was designed to kill ANYTHING in the air. Who gives a crap if it's china, india whatever.... If it's in the air and it's the enemy... it will be engaged by a multitude of weapons systems and yes..the 22 will be there. Nothing is invunerable...so anything can be shot down...but it will be harder for the enemy to take down a f22..

That's true. but remember.. they will only be open for a few seconds.. then close once the weapon is released. The F22 spits missles out and the doors are open for like.. at total of 2-3 seconds... By the time the opposing force has time to detect this increased RCS (IF they can) it's too late and a whole bunch of whoop ass is on the way..

I'm not sure.. but I think it's based upon accoustic's and pressure (same thing somewhat) and can tell the difference between a fire cracker and the real deal.. (discovery channel I think... it's been a while)

I agree with Pilotasso completely... My older PC was 3 years old and when LO came out I stuck in a AIW9800 (more for the TV stuff...and good gaming for that time frame).. I waited approx another year before I fully upgraded and take the PCI-E architecture plunge.... I ususally milk my current hardware for years and just replacing what I can on the board itself... I'll probably be upgrading in another few years and riding on the same Asus A8N-E motherboard until then....

I agree... It would also seem rather one sided if they only put out a F-15 with all it's bells and whistles , without it's appropriate counterpart without all it's bells and whistles....... now I"m off to redo my HD.. (I've had PC problems for a bit and just haven't the oomph to put it all together again for the last few months.. and when I replaced everything .. I discovered my (<= 1 year) Raptor 75 gig is crapping out on me now. So I get to do it all over again with a IDE HD until I get the warrenty replacement.) See you all when I get back online.. sometimes.. computers really suck.
