  3. 1st one is obvious 3rd is a nuke explosion what's so special about the second?
  4. The problem with the d-link web link is that it tell me nothing about your make and model and is very genral ..the second quote: didn't come from me..... .. (I use NetGear FVS318 ) Most D-Link routers work just fine, and will work in your setup..(I have done so multiple times)... what is your exact model number?
  5. Did you set up port forwarding in your router setup to point to your PC's IP address?
  6. Hi Guys... All this brings me to a question.. I have mulitple drives on my PC and install games and such to my D: When I have to redo my pc (i do a lot of testing and screwing around)... how can I get XP to acknowledge my install already there on D:? Or are we stuck into reinstalling from scratch everytime?
  7. Nothing will make LO run with higher FPS than releasing your CPU bottleneck. Why don't download the lockon cfg util that's at lockonfile.com (you need to create an account ) and see for yourself. The Vid card just enhances the visuals, but does very little for performance.. (well, as one would expect with any other game). since you didn't post your laptop specs... Turn off Advanced haze (or turn it off all together) Turn off cockpit mirrors and you probably (depending on the spec) can get away with 2xAA and 8xAF at a smooth 25-35fps at 1280x1024 There are also mods to install to help with this situation also. ..you wan't a low res screen shot? close your eyes and walk towards your room closet. Reach out with your hand... and Open it.. Enter it. Close the door.. Open your eyes and look around. How that for low res? (jeez how lazy can you get?) Water set to low in lockon is better than Falcon4 with any kind of water setting.... and take it from there.
  8. SwingKID: Maybe that new job will fix that "LockON running on Win98" problem that he has? :music_whistling:
  9. This question / issue has been hashed to death already in the past....
  10. :drink: ...sometimes I just can't help myself..... Remember.. you are without Lockon.RU sin also....
  11. I have to be honest , the only this I know about the 33, is if you put two of them together you get 66. It's the political and military aspects of this purchase is what interests me most.
  12. oh my... Alex... We American's DO NOT have the world in check (nor should it be our goal) Please poke your head out of your bravado and really look around.
  13. This can get political very fast..and I will not dance with this devil here ... I should've kept my hands on the other keyboard... (but . I wish I could sound off...)
  14. The defense of Taiwan just got that much more harder....
  15. I also found a wireless Xbox component A/V switcher. It was at Eboutique... Since my TV has only one HDTV component input, this is what I use to switch between my HDTV cableTV and my MediaCenter. Online Here
  16. I Have a high def TV that I use with a M$ media center. Works great. For PC stuff.. naw.. I'm just not going to sit in front of my 50in tv to play a computer game.. (plus, games run like crap in 1920x1080 with the hardware in my media center) I had to use Slysoft's AnyDVD to stop the Macrovision from screwing with the ability to view DVD's in wide format.
  17. Lol... I wonder if it will work on my boss...?? "Brett deserves a pay raise.. brett deserves a pay raise..."
  18. emenance... do read the original post information carefully... It's not the 7.2 rating that is the issue....
  19. apparently it holds true for internet forums also.... :)
  20. I thought they gave it the F designation because of coolness factor, nothing more... I vaguely remember this on the discovery channel.... ..just googled this: "The F-117 program was designed to employ the best fighter pilots, and the explanation given (on a recently televised documentary) by a senior member of the F-117 development team was that fighter pilots would be reluctant to fly a "B-" or even "A-" designated plane. There has been something of a class system separating fighter and bomber crews, particularly in the days of the Strategic Air Command (disbanded in 1991), and flying one type often limited a pilot's future prospects for flying the other."
