  1. All the instructions and requirements are listed right on his web page. You'll find the link at the very top of this thread.
  2. Downloading it now. Thank you very much for this. I'm anticipating much improvement in my combat flying. :smilewink: Rep points inbound!
  3. F-15C. I've really come to enjoy this plane (even with its undermodelled characteristics) due to the nice SA one gets with the information displayed in the HUD, MFD and TEWS displays. You can pretty much put together a good picture in your head as to what is out there confronting you with these display units. My usual loadout: 120 AMRAM X2 AIM-7 X4 AIM-9 X2 Fuel Tanks X3
  4. He is correct. You just need to practice and learn your aircraft. This question has been asked a thousand times here so your answers are already written somewhere on the boards. If you do a quick search or just browse the forum going back about 5 pages, I think you will find more than enough information. Cheers.
  5. Real nice job Ghostrider. You definately have an eye for this sort of thing. I'm going to keep this one for a while.
  6. Beautiful video.
  7. Another thing that helps a lot is if you have all the players on one team talking on the teamspeak channel usually provided by the hosting server. I have had it happen to me where I'm ingressing on the target, no friendlies on my radar, my buddies talking to me on teamspeak letting me know where they are etc., fire the missile. Then, some guy on my team, not on same teamspeak channel etc, happens to be in the weeds out in front and starts climbing in altitude toward my target just in time for my "pitbull" 120 to pick him up. He is not a happy camper.:music_whistling:
  8. I second that! If I had 1/100th the skill you guys have, I'd be in heaven! Man, and I thought I was big-time simulator pilot when I got my new HOTAS system this year (talking the X-52 here) LOL! I have much to learn.:) Real nice pits guys.
  9. I show my appreciation and gratitude to all the "givers" in this community by allowing them to shoot me down up on Hyperlobby.:music_whistling: :D
  10. What scene are you referring to InguanaKing? I had just watched that movie a couple of weekends back and can't recall the scene you alluded too.
  11. Look at the very top picture. On the right side, on the section where it says "Fire Exting Dish," you will see a slight discoloration of the metal walls surrounding this area. Almost looks like there is no texture there. It only is observable in dusk or dawn sitations depending on where the light hits it. The same thing happens to the other side where the "Ext Stores Jett" button is located.
  12. Do Any of you getting this particular graphical problem in the A-10 cockpit? I seem to only see it here and only when certain lighting takes effect in certain conditions in the mission. Daytime missions or night missions, everything looks normal. Look to the upper right where the Fire Exting Dish button is. Another, closer view. Here it looks fine when you change position from sun and get a different lighting effect. Not as noticable. The last pic shows the other side, Ext Stores Jettison Button, having the same problem. It is only these areas and in low light levels I see this. I'm not sure if this is a graphical bug in the game or my graphics card. I've looked at Ironhand's video tutorials with the A-10 and I think I see the same thing in his video but am unsure due to the lower resolution. Do any of you see this when flying A-10 in dawn/dusk missions?
  13. Wonderful video! That is the way to do it...taking life by the balls! ;) Thanks for sharing.
  14. Actually I did not see that link, thanks. It is interesting and gets the imagination going with respect to creating missions. I'm going to have to do some tests on my own as well. Lately, I've actually been testing ground attack aircraft vs vehicle columns, trying to see how they react to one another in certain scenarios. I'm looking for how to set up a mission where one can get the AI on both sides to behave in a somewhat realistic manner when taking each other on. First lesson I've learned from the tests; supported packages are a must! :)
  15. So how does AWACS or EWR figure in all this?
  16. Really? Now that is indeed interesting. Could you explain further EvilBivol-1?
  17. LOL...yeah I remember that too. Quite a while back I posted a question here regarding whether it matters or not in how you set the AI flight in a mission and does that setting determine how they react to you....or is it just a very simplistic way of keeping track of weapon loadouts? If I remember correctly, I never really did get an answer so I assumed it did not matter anymore. Anyway, to reiterate, that is why I had asked that question; because I had remembered you could do this way back when and the AI did react differently then depending on whether you gave them CAP or Fighter Sweep etc. etc. It was much easier IMHO back then to create more dynamic missions than what you can do with the current LOMAC.
  18. I remember that. It was really well implemented and it forced you to really pay attention to how you flew your own aircraft in order to try and remain undetected from enemy radar etc. I miss that. I wonder what happened to the sim?
  19. Welcome and see you around. You are going to enjoy this sim.
  20. Thank you. I believe you just solved my very similar problem I have with my new Saitek regarding this command.
  21. LOL...I thought I was the only one really liking this song...it has grown on me as well. Great combination of video and music. I got from the first impression (vid and music together) that the pilot of the Havoc was dancing with his machine around that convoy.
  22. I was on the server last night. Everything was going pretty good for quite some time but then my system froze up just as I downed a Su-27. I had to do a hard reboot of my system. Only problem I had on the server to date.
  23. I just viewed it Evil...you have an eye for the camera, an ear for musical mood and a definate talent for story telling. I loved it. It is a keeper and already is in my library.
