  1. Indeed, would be nice if ED could code something that would disable a ships radar if it got hit by an ARM. (and as such cripple its AD capabilities.)
  2. Afraid your not really supporting ED here bade cause the UH-1H is made by a separate company, Belsimtek. About your other problem, have you tried installing trough the module manages found in the Single Player GUI?

  5. in google typed "su-27SM" and went to images. What i found in less then 5 minutes; Surely, you can't make an fully fledged DCS SU-27SM out of this, though it does show you can find more about the MFD's and what they display to the pilot then that first picture GG posted. So an SM variant at FC3 SU-25/SU-25T level may well be possible. And if were lucky maybe even some kind of intermediate FC-DCS level module. ps, to GGTharos and SiThSpAwN Thank's for your reply's to my earlier post, fair enough i guess. ~S~
  6. Still F35 is advertised as such, and when many confronted ED about that not to long ago, you, amongst others, said it was possible. (or at least supported Kinneys claim it was, in one way or another) F-22 was also advertised as being DCS level if i remember correctly. So to recap; Before 16-06-2013, whenever someone asked about F-35, F-22, PAK-FA etc etc he was told it was not possible. On 16-06-2013, DCS F-35A was announced by Wags himself In that thread, you yourself GG have said it is possible to do, not literally though, but it is rather suggestive towards that point. And now, about 2 months later, your telling us again its not possible??? What the heck is changing so fast in this world that's causing FACTS to change so fast? Really, i'd like to see an explanation. Cause just saying whatever seems to suite ED(and/or parnters/3rd party developers) the most ain't gonna cut it for me. Cause that's what it looks like to me, ED (staff/moderators/testers) just seem to say whatever is most convenient to ED(and/or parnters/3rd party developers). And if anyone is offended by this post, to bad, i'm just being critical and have every right to be. (so don't come and warn about forum rules like 1.2, 1.4, 1.10 or other, its N/A) Especially whit such conflicting statements being made so shortly after each other. Its almost as if when you ask when the wind is blowing East its not possible Though, if the wind is blowing West it is possible. Seems that the wind is blowing East again............, wonder for how long.

  8. Bummer, but at least its now official then that the SM has been cancelled. At least for the time being. Maybe include it as well in an official update? Guess not everyone reads this thread.

  11. Recently i have come across a lot of people complaining about seeing orange KA50's in multiplayer. The 159th, has for a while now known of a fix for this. And reported it to ED. For some reason though, its not being included in the patches. So instead of repeating ourselves over and over again, i decided to provide a solution instead. I have created a simple installer, just point it to your DCS World folder and hit install. MAKE SURE TO READ THE LICENSE AGREEMENT!!! Orange KA-50 Skin Fix For those interested in what it does, here goes; When a mission uses custom skins every client has to have those skins to see them. When a client does not have a skin for a specific aircraft, DCS World switches to a default skin. Sadly enough, ED did not provide all the files needed for this default skin to show on the KA50. Causing the client to see a orange texture whit the text; Warning texture missing. The files are located in a zip file called ka-50_general.zip located in; DCS World/Bazar/World/textures Or better said, most of them are not located there while they should.

  13. Unfortunately your right Sithspawn. At least in the fact that its different. Desktop and ingame resolution are EXACTLY the same. btw, i also figured out where in windows you can log RAM usage. Once i figure out how to set it up ill post here on the forums somewhere. (you need to set it up trough Performance Monitor, type perfmon in start menu)

  17. I have notice our (159th) server crashing whit the same error. Or at least the crash file always points to the same two files at the last 2 lines. Will it be of any help if i post these logs?
  18. You can fire the vikhr without the laser being active. The moment the vikhr launches the laser activates to guide the vikhr. If you then switch of the laser the vikhr will lose guidance.

  20. Well, yes and no. Normall operation is to fire one. Though, when salvo mode is used you should be able to fire two. No idea if that actually works though, never use it. About having to switch of the laser before firing another one, i think that if you wait for the countdown timer in the lower LH side of the HUD to reach 0 you don't have to switch off the laser for the next shot. May well be wrong though.
