All - this is just an FYI for those of you that can get the Smithsonian channel. Last week’s S1 E3 is featuring the F/A-18C-G air wing OPS. I DVR it at 2000 each Sunday evening. Again - just a heads-up! :thumbup:

I have the Warthog Throttle and Stick all works as designed. However, I had some issues initially and had to un-bind all mappings that were interfering with the proper operation. Ie., the F-16 MFDs and Saitek rudder pedals were also bound to some of the controls. Once unbound all worked perfectly.

What is the TACAN channel to the carrier?

Go to the F-18 Sim control settings and de-select all bindings from other devices except for the joystick, throttle and rudder pedals flight controls. My F-16 MFDs were conflicting with them as well. Also, you may need to invert the toe brakes are they are backwards.

Oh my bad - sorry. It’s 85+ degrees in my house as my air conditioning is broken and is being repaired. It gets mighty hot in FL this time of year and I might be having delusions. ;-

That’s what I was thinking, as well. I remember WAGS saying something about it in one the vids.

The Sensor Select and TDC work. Only the TDC won’t map (in-game) to a HOTAS - it does work with the keyboard keys ; , . / Only the TDC push button works with a HOTAS at this time. If you have a Warthog Throttle here’s a work around: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=210780&highlight=Target

Thanks for the quick reply - I didn’t have that mapped on my Warthog Throttle. All fixed now!

I can’t get the TDC to move at all on the radar. I’m using the default assigned keys and nothing. What’s the procedure?

Probably - I used the SkateZilla utility to update.

This is now available.

This link will show you how to create and install an additional instance of DCS for the OpenBeta. Also, it shows the command line instructions on how to Update the OpenBeta to get and install the latest patch.
