To me many of the servers just aren't set up well for a2g guys. I would like to see a very dense AA network up to the FLOT. If you run into trouble at least you can get back under the umbrela and call for help.

I would like to be able to have AI aircraft visible with a delayed start time. Yes, I know this is possible with triggers...but with an extremely busy mission that is several hours long this becomes very demanding on resources. Not to mention time-consuming to set up. You can do this with ground vehicles with a checkbox but not aircraft. Unless I'm missing something??

This is a must-have mod, thanks for this! I was having a horrible time keeping the A-10C straight on takeoff runs (assymetrical loads?) and now I'm good to go!

My guess: Updates to A2A, basically to hold fans over since it will likely be a while before anything happens for them in the DCS series. Also possible they may port the new ME and Campaign system over. At least, this is what I hope! :music_whistling:

Bought Lomac and Flaming Cliffs, got a couple of local friends to buy Lomac as well. Skipping BS because I'm not interested in the Ka-50. Will be glad to start throwing them money again when they bring out something with some wings on it again (not some stubs) . . .

I bought the download version of FC, but it was the first and probably last digital download purchase I've made (not that anything was wrong with that transaction). There's something solid about having a physical copy in your hand, not invisible zeroes and ones. I don't intend to purchase BS (not really into that helo) but when the A-10C comes out I will wait patiently until the DVD version comes out.

LOL true!! And to think I was one of the early ones who paid . . . didn't resubscribe once my year was up though, just not enough there to justify a cost . . .

Hey everybody!! OMGz0r!! Someone from ED has spoken to us! We must be very special and extremely important for them to acknowledge our presence!! Sorry to be an ass, but this latest post says absolutely NOTHING that we haven't already heard--it's just a consolidated list of what we DO know . . . How about some clarification on this new ME and GUI? We've all HEARD they are going to be in BS, but what are we to expect? Some screens of the editor in action or maybe a short list of some new capabilities or something would be appreciated. It's sad when we all get excited over 3 paragraphs from a rep and 8 new screens every month (of stuff done by 3rd parties, no less) . . .

On both Su-25 variants take a look down at the throttle, there is a mark that I think is supposed to be the taxi speed setting. Whenever I set it there, my taxi speed is always perfect, not matter the weight of my loadout. Sometimes you still need to touch the brakes a little in the turns to be safe. Here is a screen of what I mean, notice how the screwhead at the top of the throttle is inbetween the tick marks. Also there is a red paint mark that I think is supposed to be a cruise setting, here's a shot of it:

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! :cry: I going to be wearing black in mourning today . . . Only good thing that might come out of this is maybe they will unclassify the manuals and stuff, then we might be able to see one done properly in a sim.

Anyone else starting to get less and less excited about BS?? For me, I don't care to fly a helo. If one was there I might take a test flight or two for novelty, but I'm just not interested much in helos. I think attack helicopters are a dying breed anyway, just get shot down too easily nowadays. I was hoping for the overhauled ME and WAFM, but with such a long period of silence about those possible features, I'm starting to think 1C will eventually start panicking and get ED to drop those plans. So this leaves the extended map area, of which we have only seen a vague screenshot or two, makes me wonder if that is going to make it in as well (remember, this new area was supposed to have new airfields and such--yet NO screens of ANY of those). So while the Ka-50 might be a technological breakthrough for ED, I'm thinking that us fixed wing guys are sitting here waiting for some nice new tank models and a new Russian helo to turn into a pretty fireworks display . . . Alas, I think the wait is on not for BS, but for whatever ED undertakes next. See you guys in about 3 years lol!!

Is there even a set cap for players in Lock-on? Regardless, I have seen servers with up to 66 players before IIRC--but I've never seen one with more than about 40 actually on the server at one time . .
