You can always get george to look at it, but getting jtac to lase is because you are not in the line of sight of the target

This current patch, the apache is just not doing it for me. Firstly, I cant hover anymore by hitting ATT hold (worked fine before) and now george is aiming at nothing even though he says he's lasing.

I just did a sortie in rotorheads. An osa in the bushes is unable to be destroyed. Im pretty sick and tired of freakin anti missile trees and bushes

I think its working as intended, it worked when a target is out in the open, but when its in trees, jtac still is able to lase but it just leads the missile to nowhere

yes, the in the rotorheads server, it is done thru the F10 menu

I was flying in rotorheads and before these recent updates. I would get JTAC to lase a target for me and I was able to hit the targets no problem. But recently, its not working. JTAC would give me a laser code of 1112, and as per before, I would set Channel/Code LST and LRFD to 1112. I would fire from the back seat, but the missile would not be guided in

I would like to update on my current experience with the apache. I am using an old G940 Logitech FFB stick which, when trimmed, have a bit of slack in the center of wherever it is trimmed. Before these recent updates, I was able to trim my aircraft to be in a stable hover under 2kts, hit ATT hold and let go of my stick and be in a very stable over. Now, if I do the same actions, the SAS will start to sway forwards and backwards and oscillate further and further away from the center until I enter translational lift and in forward flight again. I can still get it to over with ATT hold but I have to spend way more time finding the perfect trim point where if i let go of my stick, the slack from my stick wont fall far too forward to let it go into forward flight again. If i have a live CPG, im fine with these problems but if im flying alone, entering target points, stuff like that. I have to be in a hover asap and do these stuff and it's unhoverable for me right now

Is it me or is the attitude hold not as good at holding my heli in a hover than the previous update?

Today on rotorheads, I was flying around 250kph then I did a fast stop to a hover and the speed indicator on the top left of the HUD did not wind down with my slowing of the helicopter. It jumped straight from +210kph to 40kph instantly

I just figured out my problem. I didn’t see that there was a “Black Shark 3 Upgrade” in the steam shop sold separately from the main Black Shark 3 page. I just purchased the upgrade and transferred the liscence to SA. All is well now

I didn't work for me, I dont have BS1, I have BS2 only

I originally purchased BS2 on steam and then transferred the license to standalone. Now I'm logged into my account on the DCS website and it says I am licensed on the BS2 but there is no option for me to upgrade to BS3 for $9.99 and I only get the option to purchase it at full price. What am I missing here?

I have made custom keybinds on my keyboard that allows me to control both MFDs with one hand only. But recently I just found out the macro feature on the razor synapse app and it's working wonders!

I always wished that DCS had persistent damage for the aircraft we fly. In other words, the state of our aircraft is saved even after we logged off. That way, running pre flight checks and tests would be more meaningful when we join a server each time. And this way, we can really feel like we own that particular aircraft

For those who would like to skip the HMD bore sight procedure during a cold start like me, you can do what I do, which is to save a snap view that has the bore sight aligned and just hold that snap view, press bore sight and you're done. You can thank me later

Didnt happen to me the other day, but today it happened. Unable to get the desired symbology, can only get the ladder or the hover point symbology. The other two symbologies i had to keep my SS switch held down.

Real or not, I adjust my flying habits to whatever FM is implemented right now. I dont want my money to go to waste , which means no left sideways flight for now.

Hi, is this normal or is it a bug? Altitude hold does not hold the aircraft in a stable altitude during a hover and oscillates over time resulting in a crash. This happened to me on Rotorheads first, then I went on SP free flight to try it again and it was still the same. Please check the video

A separate rudder trim button for the apache like in the Mi24. Pretty Please?

I had the same problem in the cpg gunner seat. Basically you get transported into the cockpit of the 3d external model.
