  2. I always think that when it comes to ambiguous/unknow or secret information on some aircraft systems, I don't mind a little artistic license being used to fill in any gaps. I think ED are starting to do this with EW systems going forward.
  3. TBF, I think we need an official tutorial on how to deploy the LS 100 and proof of concept in the JF-17.
  4. DTC wont update at all and when trying to shut down the plane and cold starting again. Yes, i had this problem in SP. I think Deka are aware of the bug, along with the start up procedure to remove dust cover is not available nor the configuration panel. There is a work around for the config panel by reducing the ground wind to zero. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next OB patch.
  5. Anyone got this to work or know what it is? I saw the option in the Ground Crew section in game, however the configuration panel did not appear.
  6. I believe this bomb must be both laser and GPS/INS guided. It doesn't make sense to have a laser guided bomb that can be dropped from 14 NM out from the target, as your jet would have to travel at least half that distance to keep the target lased, or hang around the target till the bomb is in terminal.
  7. Please can Redfor be given more long range threats. I love the scud model but I think we need a much more accurate red missile system in the game. It would drive stories and missions and role play. Also i'd like the Russian & Chinese ships to be given their own cruise missile systems. Loving 2.8 & thanks ED for all your hard work.

  9. The RBS-15 MK4 land cruise missile doesn't clear the mountains. Is it just for costal land targets or deep strike? Thanks
  10. I just noticed that there isn't actually an ATC for H3 Northwest. This is why there is no radio calls. Seems odd as it has a tower & is a pretty big airfield.
  11. H3 Northwest on the Syria map The tower isn't responding during start up. Using easy comms - No response to taxi or take off requests. OK on the return to the airfield.
  12. I tried to have the B52 AI take off from a number of large bases on the Syria map, as part of a SP mission, however, I cannot get the B52 to park. It will land at certain airfields, but one cannot start it cold, on a ramp. An error box appears stating there is no parking spaces for the aircraft.

  14. Thanks for the reply. Apologies I did not specify that the problem is with the H3 Northwest airfield. H3 Northwest is not responding to easy comms as listed above. I tested this again and easy comms is active and forced on. I get calls when requesting to land but no calls before take off.
  15. H3 tower does not respond in Iraq, however, does respond on the return to base. Request start up Request taxi to runway Request take off (using easy comms)

  17. In the latest OB patch of 22 July 2022 it states under Deka Ironworks; JF-17 that, CM802AKG abnormal behaviour if launched without DL pod. Does this mean that a DL pod is no longer necessary for the weapon?
  18. As a single player, a save function would be fantastic. One could actually use the warehousing system that is already built into the game
  19. Hi, I've been testing the B52 AGM86 cruise missiles & there is an issue with them colliding. For example if i drop 12 missiles, 7 will explode after release (sometimes the whole salvo will be destroyed). There surviveabilty is slightly better over land than sea. Only because they appear to get more spread out depending on terrain. maybe a not fixable, I dunno, but it would be great if this was looked into. Thanks. AGM 86C.trk
  20. Apologies, please see attached file. The scud vehicles move to the fire mission way point but then randomly disperse. They also do this if they are place as stationary on the map. Scud moves2.trk

Hi all, I'm pretty sure that if you have a group of scud vehicles that are placed stationary in the ME, that they would stay still and fire their missiles, However i've noticed that when i give them a fire mission (fire at object), they all disperse, causing some not to start their launch sequence. I tried spawning them in late or having them drive along the road to the fire mission waypoint, however, as soon as they reach the waypoint they once again randomly disperse. Is this a bug or normal behaviour. Seems odd. Please see track file Thanks Scud moves.trk

  23. I love the ME, however, it can be time consuming to create missions and templates without a 3D environment. I spend lots of time dipping in & out of actual game to check positions of assets to then realise that a EW radar is positioned right up against a large bush ot tree that i didn't see on the 2D editing map. It would be great to see not only a 3D editor but a stand alone editor that one could create on then transfer into the game , along with its triggers and/or lua coding.
