The dropping of dumb bombs I find really tricky. I always have to dive even in auto (CCRP) mode & sometimes they just don't drop. If it's a possible bug I hope it's looked at soon.

I think Arma 3 does troop movements brilliantly. They have a great heat map and run from tanks when hit or if near explosions. If a similar AI routine could be implemented for DCS that would make a great sim fantastic.

Hi Admiral I hope you're well. I have the Admirals type 45 skin pack & HMS Duncan downloaded. I added the Duncan to a few mission. I did a clean install & the mod dependency will not allow me to open the mission. I cannot think of how I installed the Mod. Any instruction would be fantastic. Using 2.7 OB. -

Hi I was testing the Russian AI TU-160 bomber over Syria. I ordered it to release it's cruise missiles at waypoint 2, however, the missile tumble to the ground in all directions. I'm i doing something wrong? I released them under Pinpoint Strike/Bombing & tried Pinpoint Strike/Attack object on Map. Both displayed the strange behaviour. I also tried different altitudes & over land & sea. This happened on the Caucasus map too when released over land but worked over the sea. Please can this be looked at. I've tested this missile many times & it can be very clumsy at hitting targets. As far as I remember it has never pitched down on the SPI or co-ordinates, which is very frustrating. It also used to have TV guidance in the terminal phase and was much clearer at seeing a specific target. Now it only has IR view which can be pretty foggy. ( I can't work out how to change the MIL from WHot to BHot). I love the weapon however, I too wish it would pitch to the target (like the SLAM). I don't know if this is what the missile does in RL or if this is a bug.

Hi I would like to see a change in the SEAD actions for AI aircraft in mission. At this time when the AI are on a SEAD task they attack all radar and SAM systems that they detect. Is it possible for the AI just to attack a specific SAM system and return home without coving the whole map searching for targets.

Yes, as many pilots fly single player missions that they've created themselves, It would be great to have a feature to fly a mission and be given the option when you land to save the game. Lets say one attacks a weapons factory in Syria, which is defended by SAM systems, One could fly a SEAD/DEAD mission, return to base (which maybe miles away), then save the mission to pick up from when last left off. With the assets on the ground still damaged or destroyed. This would allow the player to create large missions one could return to, Allowing day/night operations on the same mission. I've no idea if this is technically possible, however it would be a great addition if possible.

I just tested this and got the same result. I fired an AK from 55 miles in DIR mode without a radar lock and it lofted to 40k feet, it then came crashing down on top of the ship, as you wrote, like a ballistic missile. If I locked on using the radar it seemed ok.

Ground launched cruise missiles would be great. Also a more up to date modern scud system fir the reds.

A SP mission save feature so one can pick up the mission. The feature could be added to airfields/airports. When one lands the option to save is available. This would allow the SP to utilise the 'warehousing' feature as well as continue long mission objectives. It would make DCS fantastic.

I had the same problem. I was going to send a TRK file, however, today it works. Remember to make the screen SOI. set RWR up. I did all this yesterday but working today. Maybe just needed a restart? -
Got it working now, thanks. It appears I had to unclick rain droplets and re-click it on. It then worked fine. Thanks

Will rain on my JF17 be returned? I miss it. was cool taking off with rain running down the windscreen. Love the 'icing on the cake' but please bring us rain again.

I've just tested this and can confirm they're falling short for me too. I don't use these that often as one can only carry two. Must be a bug - I'll make a track file.

HI, I the TPod doesn't ground stabilise until one is at least 21 miles out. It cannot give you a reading until it ground stabilises.

It would seem that the low fps issue while flying the JF17 is a STEAM issue as the stand alone is fine. FYI Thanks

Hi guys, Does anyone suffer any frame loss recently? I have a pretty rubbish PC but always manged to fly my Jeff at settings that suit me, without any stutter of low fps. However, now i get low fps on an unpopulated airfield and same low fps on a busy airfield with triggers. I also own a F18 - this seems to be running normally & seems unaffected, even when I substitute jeff for F18 in the jet same mission. Messed with all graphical an pc setting and did a re-install of STEAM & DCS. but still have the issue. Just putting feelers out if any other pilots are getting reduced fps. (Playing in SP/ No VR)
