  3. it is a good site... its just that the Google search algorithm places a premium on responsive site templating across numerous screen sizes an also ranks lower when iframes are present. Still a great redesign though.
  4. Heya grimes - sorry for the late reply but the stutters are coming with each respawn of an AI wingpair. there are 8 wingpairs per side and each uses MIST to respawn upon death or despawn. I am using a continuous trigger - should I be using a switched condition instead to mitigate stutters?

  9. I co-nominate grimes and speed (listed together for MIST). The contribution MIST represents to the community (both SP and MP) is hard to encapsulate. MIST is a critical tool for the enjoyment of many hours in the sim by many... whether they realize it or not. It also spans all modules in addition to the tireless upkeep they have dedicated to the code.
  10. Come hop on TS3 and fly with us Dirty! We will be happy to help. it certianly takes a while to get comfortable with DCS dogfighting but if you fly with others, you will always have a second and third set of eyes helping you not lose the bandit. Fly online - it will help you bridge to the kill and have fun doing it.
  11. hmmm - i wonder if that was a brief packet loss situation? i suppose it is also possible there is a collision model issue somewhere on that model... we will have to watch to see if it is observed again.
  12. Yeah more cores is never the answer with DCS - speed is what you need .... Unfortunately 2.4 is woefully sleepy for this game

  14. that should be showing your kneedboard there... have you installed any kneeboard mods etc? maybe run DCS repair from your start menu in windows.

  17. Unfortunately not... There are attempts to suspend disbelief with proxy transports/ units from editor but that's it for now

  19. yeah - i'd like to hear how it plays out with sabre and p51 support hitting the town too. i think they could be cleared pretty quick but yeah - back when i first made the mission, the door AI way more deadlier.
  20. Keep your distance and orbit by facing a door gunner at town ... Fly steady so they can aim. Actually going with 1-2 other helis helps as it de concentrates their fire ... If you are only presenting one target, they will all shoot at you :) Also don't fly too low over the forest in between towns and outposts, there are roaming squads in there with ak47 that will happily shoot at you
  21. Just a note from a fellow builder that there are some known synchronization issues with moving boats ... Clients may or may not see them
  22. hmm - if it went solid orange it sounds like it was looking for a texture... i know there is a broken canopy glass texture that is new - perhaps you have a corrupt install that is missing this texture? i have seen the texture on my fw190 on looslips so i know its there... thanks for the report - we will keep an eye on it. thank you also for the support!
  23. i looked at the stats.lua being generated and noted that while it tracks flight time, UID and airframes, it doesnt seem to track weapons or ground kils for our WWII server. if the config like other scripts where the weapons need to be defined?
  24. land at OP charlie by navigating along FM Homing to 44 Mhz. Once you land at the outpost, random insurgents will spawn in the valley towns - Charlie will confirm that enemy activity is confirmed. follow your waypoints on kneeboard and check each village for bad guys - kill them, reinforce town with troops from either home plate or one of the outposts. rinse repeat until all towns clear.
  25. if you are flying the pony and like ground pounding, you should come check out the DoW server... happy to have independent fliers.
