  1. Is there a way too centre TrackIR in the module options for each ac or do I have to learn to use the target software with the Warthog?
  2. Anyone got any pics of this mod on the X or Y stick Axis? Just for reference so I can have a go at it
  3. OK, so I've just ordered the magnets and hal;l sensors. All for under £10. Fingers crossed I can get this to work :-)
  4. Fantastic! Brilliant work Bunyap. I spent a good few hours going through your Sabre series last night too! :-)
  5. Dagnamit! I managed this time to get some really good hits - flew against another F86 and seemed to take ages, trying to get the feel for it but always managing to spin out or stall and loose him. He was a lot easier to find when he was smoking! Anyway, I lost, my engine broke and I managed to belly land in a field. Getting better though :-)
  6. Makes dogfighting this thing a beast! Very difficult to keep from stalling out on what appears to be small turns, but when looking at g, those small turns are pretty violent! I cannot fight this thing at all. I've only been at it for a day mind you and hopefully I'll get better. Guns only, 1v1, verses the F86 and the MiG15. I cannot get behind any of them! For long! Managed to get some hits on the Sabre in F86vF86, but never the Mig15!
  7. Got it now. Had to delete my saved games folder.
  8. Hmmmm, not here it isn't
  9. I've got 2 x 4gb EVGA Classified GTX680's in SLI too :-)
  10. Blimey - what realism setting do you have DCS on? I can always walk away from everything DCS throws at me!
  11. I don't know how it is modelled in game, but if you were calling out bandits, would you not reference them to your a/c?
  12. Quite right P*Funk. You are correct.
  13. LOL. 3000 ft is not particularly low. Is that AGL or Barometric? My point being that at 12,000 (for example) you should be able to lock and fire at around 7km. Lower than that mans you will need to be nearer to shoot. The missile motor will only fire for a minimum time period, and then the missile becomes ballistic (effects of gravity etc). Understandably you'll want to be fairly low against some SAMs which will mean getting close - or find a nice hill to hide behind, get a lock on the TGP, duck behind the hill, come round again, slave MAV to TGP and shoot, then get behind the hill. You can do this from quite a distance depending on the terrain!
  14. What altitude are you engaging at? You can fire considerably further at higher altitude, low level, you need to get in fairly close.
  15. I agree entirely with WinterH. Nice summary :-)
  16. I've used Fraps before but like poster #2 says, its a performance killer. Not tried Shadowplay but it's the same kind of thing - if you've got an Nvidia card.
  17. Not where I'm from its not...............
  18. Thanks guys. Just wanted to know where the trim was in the options so I can map it to HOTAS. :-)
  19. Can anyone point me to the Rudder Trim? I can't see it in the A10C Sim/HOTAS commands. Unless I'm being particularly stupid today!
  20. This is by far the best video of any flight sim ever. Made in the old days with LOMAC Here is the sequel:
  21. Nice. I never knew you could do all that in the Abris!
  22. Use your wingman to search for hard to see targets and engage
  23. Fantastic :-)
