Yeah that's one crazy bike .. Speed on a motorcycle isn't as relative as it is in a car so 30 feels like 60, 60 feels like 120 etc but 300+ mph would be insane and with no fairings to block the wind your legs would be flapping around the back of the bike like a flag as you struggled just to hold on :helpsmilie: . ... I'd still want to have ago on it though lol .

Basically if you're running WinXP then you should be able to unzip the .rar file in the same way you would a winzip file. Not to worry though I just changed all the files and links in my original post to Winzip files. Nah I've tried everything. It works perfect with FFB set to false but as soon as I turn it on I notice a lack of control. I think I can describe it best by saying things get a little wild especially in pitch. It's not a huge difference and it can go unnoticed but there's definitely a lack of control. Hmm that makes no sense. You trim to center the stick so you don't have to keep applying forward or backwards pressure. If trimming is going to force the stick forward/backwards then whats the point in trimming? In IL2 I can trim until the stick centers and I can feel through the forces that the plane is perfectly trimmed out, the same thing for FS9 but in LO trimming just produces a force that drags the stick forwards which just feels .. well stupid lol .

Oh yeah a really good one too. The pilot talks about target selection, how best to use the gun against Shilkas and an odd piece of info that his unit takes off pylons 3 and 9 just to gain a few knots in airspeed. It looks as though the interview was done pre GF1 because he talks about how Red Flag isn't the greatest training area because they don't expect to fight in a desert LOL kind of funny but its a cool read. I'll scan it in later today or tomorrow.

They're called Take Off but I doubt you'll be able to find them. I gotem a few days ago from a store I past that was closing down. It looked like they specialized in comics and other types of magazines and from the window I spotted a box set of these aviation Mags that were going for next to nothing. The Owner said they had been in the back for years but I think that's more like 10 to 12 years because the dates are like early 1990's. Here's the front cover of the one I was reading last night. And here's an excerpt from an F14 pilot describing how he out turns A4's .. I'll try to scan this article in next week but there's a really good one on the A10 that I'll do first.

If I've understood you correctly then; A) In cockpit its IAS (Indicated Air Speed) which is measuring the airflow over the aircraft, so it will read slower speeds the higher your altitude even though your Mach and ground speed in F2 is increasing. Edit .. you might mean the assigned airspeed you chose in the mission editor. The airspeed on the top tells you what IAS speed will keep you at the correct ground speed which would have been chosen in the editor. B) If you're talking about F2 Alt then its user defined. Check whether you have Imperial or Metric in the options menu. C) Russian/ Ukraine = Meters. Nato (including German Mig29) = Feet. D) I don't really "Turn by numbers" ;) anymore but I think its Like Su27/33 400 to 450 kmph, Mig29 500 to 550 kmph and F15 is around 300 Mph.. I am probably way out but someone will know that's for sure. I usually just use what ever speed is appropriate for whatever situation and maneuver I require. I am more likely to be interested in the amount of G's I'm pulling.
