I totally agree with you on that . Which is one of the reasons why I have to say that IL2 beats Lomac online. With Il2 you have actual missions with easily defined targets for ground and air units and a simple attack and defend mentality that the online capabilities of Il2 allow. With lomac you can't have the server switch to the next map when one side has won and you don't know how well your side is doing where as in Il2 you get updates as you play like Blue team: has 12 pilots and 5 aircraft left etc.

If the missions are designed with out using labels then I'm in :thumbup:

Some of the prices I've heard banded around for a fully moded Cougar is just insane, I could afford it but I couldn't justify it if you know what I mean. I'm not judging anyone .. if its what you want then more power to ya but I'd rather have a CH setup that will work straight out of the box for years.

I may be a little punchy from a slight hangover but are you seriously that taken with turbulence that's it has become a major priority for you? Personally I don't care about that I fly all three sims (FS9, PFm).. I'll get 46 when the majority of servers online are running it and FSX I am about to order. I have to say though that each sim covers a different aspect and you either want to fly them all or just the ones that cover the type of aviation you're interested in. IMO you cant compare the two or three sims ;) especially when there's always a mad rush around the newest sim released. But once you fly around long enough and learn all the new stuff these sims can do then sooner or later you're gonna want to fly a modern ship with stand off weapons. :pilotfly:

I've only listened to it once but I think the IP was wrong about everything. The trainee did as he was told and turned the heat off...Actually it sounded like the heat was never turned on in the first place, which is why the trainee probably got confused when he looked at the heater switch in the off position but still had the instructor pilot screaming at him. It was only near the end when the trainee explained that the heat was off that the IP then told him to set some switch to cold, which I assume is the air con if you get what I mean.

:thumbup: Thought I was the only one :D The only time I'd trade in my FFB2 is when I get a CH fighter stick but I'm in no rush for that either. I like the way I can change the centering force for each aircraft in LO .. so the Su25 gets a hard centering force while the Eagle is as smooth as butter .. I wish CH would design a FFB stick but I doubt they'd do it anytime soon if at all. One thing though, I really hope ED spend some time sorting out the issues with the FFB effects and trim. I always have the FB effects turned off and I just run with the centering force.. too bad becasue the effects with the AFM are great.

Click Image at the top and from the drop down menu choose Image size then just type in the size you require click OK and thats it.

The textures are in the either the f15_maintextures.cdds or f15_newtextures.cdds these two files can be found in the C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Bazar\World . I think the ones your looking for are in the f15_maintextures.cdds. Use the CDDS Browser in Modman to view the skins you want to change. Make sure you back up everything first :thumbup: I plan on update my Tut but unfortunately I wont have time until next week .. thx for downloading it though ;)

The way I do it is to use the Export/ Import facility in the CDDS browser of Modman. Its pretty easy all you have to do is to add the resolution to the name of the .bmp file (e.g F-15-PAINT-L-DEF-1-2048x2048.bmp) and install it into the CDDS file you want to .. it will overwrite the skin automatically. Also I cant remember the entire procedure off the top of my head but there is away to use the Addon manager in Modman, once you've applied Teka Teka's Modman patch, to install textures directly into your CDDS file but I prefer the method I described above. Just adding. I've never actually done it before but to add/ remove slots I'm pretty sure you'll have to edit the meinit.xml file. If you scroll down to or search for Name="F-15C" in Wordpad or notepad then scroll down to the <ColorSchemes> section then it should be obvious.. as i say I've never done it but it looks fairly straight forward. Edit; Just want to make it clear that I was referring to editing the color schemes that are already listed in the meinit.xml file. As i understand it the schemes are held in the 3d shape so I dont believe you can just add more but you can change the the name that appears in the lockon menu. So if you want to get rid of the panther skin then you should be able swap the skins with the CDDS browser then change the ID name in the meinit.xml file to what ever you want.

Nice patches.. ! I think they're a little too big though, W 200, H 200 tends to chop the sides off for me. I have been working on a few CAF patches with the ability to add the 416 Lynx Squadron and the default resolution of W128, H128 works the best.

Here's all the A10 cmd files I could find in my \Bazar\World\Shapes folder: A10cmd Try just the a-10.cmd first, if that works fine, if not then I guess try them all ;) .. Just remember to back everything up.

LMAO that is the craziest method of testing I've ever seen :joystick: .. If one piece of concrete hit the plane the repair bill would be insane .. :pilotfly: I think too much Vodka went into the planing of that testing session. :smilewink:

You know what this might be.. I think somehow the Model file itself has been renamed so the F16 model now has the name of the A10. Not sure how to fix it though if you don't have the original files you may be looking at a complete reinstall. Edit; Oops ..Brit's got it.. sorry didn't see your post.
