You think Patch 1.0.2 might activate FFB on the G940 ? =/

I received the G940 today and I set everything up like it's explained in some threads here. I taped the sensor and activated FFB in the profiler and in the producer.cfg. When idle FFB is working correctly, but when I start DCS and play a mission the stick goes loose and there's no FFB at all. I did google quite a bit and found someone who said that he had to install the joystick first and DCS after it to get it working. Has someone a solution for my problem ? I use DCS 1.0 right now because I want to watch some tutorials before patching to 1.0.2and I don't think 1.0.2 will fix my issue. greetz Migo

ED said Black Shark will get the engine improvements of A10C, too. I think they won't ignore the 64bit-support.

It's been a while since I played DCS: BS. Now version 1.0.2 has been released. Why should I install the new patch ? I don't play online and not being able to listen to online radio or to watch tutorials anymore are huge cons. Are there any major improvements beside the FC2 compability ? Is the new sound engine a lot better ? greetings, Migo

There is always a chance of an electrical power outage caused by georgian attacks or just electrical problems in the electricity network.

Like I said... Nobody knows how you can fix it, the developers of Black Shark have to patch it or something like that. Just deactivate the Force Feedback in the producer.cfg file or buy another Stick like Microsoft Sidewinder Forcefeedback 2.

It's because it's not functioning right in DCS, the forcefeedback is too weak, not because of the Saitek Evo but because of some kind of bug, I don't know. The developers didn't take a statement about this issue as far as I know.

Did you turn on the fuel pumps for external fuel tanks ? Otherwise you will run out of fuel on this mission pretty fast. Just turn on inner and external fuel pumps.

Download Rivatuner, when installed go to the folder Rivatuner\Tools and there is the D3DOverrider which can force Vsync on any 3d application, then you can make a shortcut to not always have to search that folder.

Hm it's getting more realistic and more detailed and more expensive everyday, but still same fun as playing Super Nintendo ;-) In my mind you're always best served with that what you have. People always looking for something bigger and better to get instead of having fun with the things they already have. Can remember had a very small TV, maybe 20". Was nice and ok, then got a 32" someday, damn that thing was giant, then got a 37" and the 32" looked so small against it.... and when I maybe someday will have a 50" it will equal the 20" like all others did. You know, things becoming bigger, better, faster but they're still the same. For now I am really happy with DCS. I don't want to have it look more realistic. And if it would look like ArmA 2, the people will yearn again after a look like Crysis and then again after more realistic one. Whole world is running without even know where it's running to, I think in all the fast and stressed life we forgot to appreciate what we already have. That's my oppinion about getting better graphics cards and computers and cars and everything. Some weeks ago found myself digging out old Commodore 64 and having fun playing old stupid games :thumbup:

That's very strange. I have stuttering when events are loaded, like when flying over the ingress points and a trigger is activated, but after some seconds it's fluent like before...

I like it to, completely other genre then ArmA 2, mre Ghost Recon like you said but is fun. Has to be some more added features like leaning and indicator which firemode/ammo one is usng. I shot about 10 riflegrenades in hardcore mode accidentally, because switching ammo didn't work or I couldn't remember which I was using. Also needs a compass in hardcore. It's hard to always look on the map to know if you're looking south, or noth or whatever.

Sometimes I raise the throttle when I made a mistake and entered a vortex ring, it's easier to get out of it fast as possible then.

I get mine Monday I think. I heard lots of cons, already. Most people are angry about the bad texture resolution, would be cool if there will come a High Res Texture Mod ^^

xD damn Edit: Got my FSX copy, spent some hours tweaking and got nice visuals and good performance now. That piper cup is pretty fun to fly as a noob :) Trying some more Tutorials tomorrow.
