  3. "fellows as to play on the Internet or in the network into the hot cliffs. if possible you are taken aback in detail" What is the question ? Do you want to know how to play MP via internet ? OK, I try my best: You need two players then. One is the host, the other one the client. The host needs to create or download a mission in which at least two aircraft are available for human pilots, that is in the mission editor menu the aircraft have to be set to 'Player' as pilots (marked in yellow letters) and the green button 'client' is on. Both start up their Lock On Flaming Cliffs.Next, on the main menu on the left side both select 'Network'. On the next menu, the host selects 'server' and the other one selects 'player'. Next, the host has to find his IP address. It's a good idea to check it with calling up with http://www.whatismyip.com/. Tell the client this IP number. The client also types in the IP of the host. Be sure, that the standard port 10308 is selected. The host then loads a mission with flyable aircraft (as described above) selects his aircraft, armament and hits 'Fly'. The client does the same and then the message 'waiting for server should' appear on the client system. Finally, the host presses 'S' and the mission starts. Written from my memory, but I think, it's basically that way.
  4. It surely depends on the opponent fighter that is aiming at you. AFAIK F-15C and Su-27 give almost the same readings, whereas a MiG-29S will give much weaker readings at the same distance. I think, 50% on the RWR will indicate somewhat about 100-120 km for the Su-27/F-15C, while at the same time it could be a MiG-29S at about 80 km distance. So the MiG with a weaker radar has to be closer for the same indication. Values are a rough estimate based on my experience.
  5. Dynamic weather How about implementing dynamic weather ? Wouldn't it be great to take off in bright sunshine and come back in a thunderstorm 40 min later ? And this also would mean different weather in different areas of the Crimean map.
  6. Started a poll here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=36245
  7. Is there enough interest within the community for a LO event like Cooperative Archer after DCS is out? See =FV=MAD's question here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=26920&page=2
  8. Pardon me, but 1. he posted his question in the LOFC part of the forum and 2. he wrote this "...how I can change the colour of the sky in LOFC." Where did he write a word about DCS:BS ?
  9. Virtual Tactical Fighter Squadron 161 Founded in 2003, the Virtual Tactical Fighter Squadron 161 "Mad Bulls" (Virtuelle Jagdstaffel 161, VJS 161) is a German squadron based at SAKI. We operate MiG-29S, F-15C and Su-27 in the A2A role. We enjoy online matches against other squads and also participated in several LOCERF exercises. Training days are Monday (19:30 CET) and Thursday (21:00 CET). Language is German with English Brevities, but international guests are welcomed every time (most of us speak English, too). Own TS server available. We always recruit.
  10. Or use two different partitions/ HDD, each with a Windows OS installation. You can choose while booting your computer, which one you want to start.
  11. See here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=22510&highlight=cloud
  12. BUMP Last posting from Torwak was of March 29, 2008. I visited the CA Forum today, only to find it messed up with spam postings. Is CA finally dead or will you give it a try in 2009 ?
  13. Oh, come on, don't post any nonsense like that here in this forum....
  14. After 5 years, NASA has released the final report on the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster. According to the report, the crew of seven was killed within a minute after they lost control. http://www.nasa.gov/columbia/home/CAIB_Vol1.html
  15. I don't think so. BS is one module of the new DCS series. Unless there will be a patch for DCS:BS to fix some bugs, it can be considered as finished. So ED is not making 'more and more modules for BS' but for the DCS series. I expect to see FC 1.13 soon, provided the company is not already busy with new commercial projects, for the military for example.
  16. Your serial is still to be found at http://lockon.co.uk/ where you DLed your FC version. Log in and you can find your serial again.
  17. and web portals from other countries, museums and much more. Enjoy surfing: http://www.aviation-links.co.uk/mam.html
  18. FC is a 32 bit program, try to run it in the 32 bit compatibility mode . I don't have XP 64, but I know from other threads that there is a way to select this compatibility mode in XP 64
  19. Re-read my posting. I noticed that you refered to the wrong patch version. It reads 'EngCD' in the middle, and you have the DL version of FC. Why did you post your question twice anyway ?
  20. If you refer to the patch for upgrading FC to 1.12, be aware that there is a patch for the CD and one for the DL version. Use the one for the DL version, the other one probably will not work for your FC installation. The patch that you DLed reads '....EngCD...' which indicates, that it is for the CD version. Find the patch for the DL version instead. I assume, that the patches for the different versions of FC have different CRCs.
  21. Found this interesting stuff while looking for experimental aircraft reports: http://www.writing.upenn.edu/~afilreis/50s/govfilms.html You might want to get a copy of some of those films - it's an outstanding offer ...
  22. RTFM - This always shows to be so darn true... :cheer3nc:
  23. You can get more 'darkness' if you tune down the brightness on your screen a bit.
