The problem of translucent planes and objects is not related to Starforce. If it was a patch / Starforce+Vista problem, and you would have installed the wrong patch (1.12a) , then Starforce simply would not let you allow to use Flaming Cliffs, not even the mentioned 5 minutes. But you are able to launch Flaming Cliffs and play it, but with grafix bugs. It's a grafix driver issue, I'm sure. What video card ? What driver version ? If Flaming Cliffs is running in XP compatibility mode (I think it's 32 bit then), the video card might require a 32 bit driver as well ? Experienced Vista users here ? (I'm running W2K and I'm still so happy....)

Yes, I noticed that he vanished almost from one day to another. No messages from him that he quit playing Lock-On, just no further messages at all. Me too.

Mit dem ersten Patch wird (vielleicht) alles besser.... Bei Flanker und Lock-On wurden auch wesentliche Bugs mit den ersten Patches behoben (leider nicht alle und z.T. enstanden neue Probleme bzw. wurden Parameter verändert). Die Hoffung stirbt zuletzt.

Have never used RaMGen, but from what I understood, the data are stored in the statistics database of your Lock-On pilot profile. Have you looked there ? Just my guess ... BTW: You have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installed, haven't you ?

I made a MS PowerPoint slide with the aircraft shapes of some of the Lock-On aircraft. Those shapes were all drawn to appr. the same scale, are available in 8 positions shown (each rotated by 45°) and can be used for tutorials, briefings etc. Made with MS PPT 2000. I'll stay with Max 7 and 8, outdated or not. If you invested weeks to handle it, you don't easily change to a newer version were many menues have changed - see the different Windows versions for example. And for the time being, Max 8 is doing fine for creating models for Lock-On / FC / BS. Why change ??

Anybody here who tried this before ? Maybe, with another combination it is possible to change the flight characteristics for the MiG-25 more to what vanir expected.

It's not only the log-writing that creates lagging, but the errors that are logged are creating lagging as well. Have you thought about the impact on the game performance that is caused by wrong data formats and / or file paths ?? I recommend to look into the error log and eliminate the malfunctions rather than just ignoring them.

I'd like to see the Tomcat as another plane. As alternative give us the Crusader or at least the Corsair II. But it should be a western carrier based aircraft anyway.

IMHO, the reason is, that the smoke trail is the same for all missile simulated in LO / FC. For reasons of simplicity, only one 'smoke trail' has implemented, despite the physics model of the different missile types varies.
