  1. SAKI two long runways, nice beach with nice chicks, a BBQ stand and cold imported beer.. (no, not Heineken..)
  2. Much much more likely is that an enemy simply would jam both IFF frequencies and the whole electronic ID will go down the drain. Why waste time with decrypting key code tables ?
  3. Kuky is right. IFF is an active system and can not be triggered by EOS / IRST. The fact that the IFF readout can be displayed on a G15 display is a workaround using the game data and is not realistic in any way. One could consider it a cheat.
  4. So, what is your point, jpm1 ? If you want to host a mission for others, like it is done for hyperlobby, it's no good idea to 'use the PC while the program is running'. It's the idea of a dedicated server to not use the PC for any other purposes while it's hosting a mission. Except you own a high end PC and use a high capacity internet line, you won't be able to host a 20+ player mission and play yourself on the same machine with acceptable graphics settings and FPS rates. I can't see your point.
  5. UBISOFT was the distributor of "Lock-On Modern Air Combat", and still holds the rights of the game (source code). The software developer is Eagle Dynamics (ED), and both companies separated quite a while ago. ED then published "Flaming Cliffs" as an 'unofficial' Add-on to "Lock-On", and now started their own series Digital Combat Simulator (DCS), of which "Black Shark" will be the first release. ED is a Russian based company established in 1991, developing simulations and other software since then ("Flanker" and others.).
  6. After deleting those files, be sure that you always start TrackIR before you launch Lock-On. It won't work vice versa.
  7. I'd like to see contrails no longer fixed between 8000 and 12000 mtrs, a slider like for the cloud setting would be great. BTW: Chuck Norris counted to infinity - twice ! and They once made a Chuck Norris toilet paper, but it wouldn't take shit from anybody.
  8. Established on Sep 1, 2003, we proudly look back on 5 years of - dirty jokes on Teamspeak - abused controllers - overheated CPU's and cold, cold beer - thousands of (virtually) scrapped jet aircraft (mostly our own ones) - good fights with other squads - enjoying this outstanding community ! Lock-On rocks !
  9. @Yo-Yo Did you find him ?
  10. Are you using the DL version of FC ? If so, make sure that you save your registry key for FC as well, otherwise you will need to activate your Starforce copy protection again. ED provides a free tool to save that reg key.
  11. http://www.military.com/news/article/af-pilots-caused-fatal-f15-collision.html?ESRC=airforce-a.nl A press release regarding the Feb mid-air is out.
  12. Will the infamous chat bug be solved with DCS:BS ?
  13. Confirmed. From the ReadMe file that comes with the 3DS Max plug in: "Adjusting in the 3ds max 7 In utilities panel you can press Configure Button Sets and select Eagle Dynamics Plugins and LOMUtils. Use NOTE: LOMAC tools working with standard materials only. Not us any complex material. Glass for aircrafts and vehicles assign in the LOMUtils in the Material Type section. Please use CanopyGlass for any type of glasses."
  14. Tried google ? http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=289914 http://eq2players.station.sony.com/characters/character_profile.vm?characterId=1248146104 http://www.websonix.ca/~wce/viewtopic.php?t=1913&highlight=&sid=7b9f994c4e57e63aba01de78a7897a5d http://www.wowjutsu.com/us/shadowcouncil/Wings%20of%20Tomorrow/roster#Hammfist Seems he still is active in that WoW guild
  15. I think, you find them first with the KOLS/IRST.
  16. Thanks, my mistake. But that does not answer my question. The shown rotor setup, will it prevent the rotor blades from colliding ?
  17. Here is mine: http://rapidshare.com/files/141628876/view.zip.html if your antivir prompts that there is a virus in it, delete your antivir !
  18. Back to topic: Would a rotor concept like that of Kamov effectively prevent blades from colliding ?
  19. Glad you wrote 'stick', not the other word sounding very similar.... @Hitman Well done, Pal !
  20. Common single rotor helos can hit their own tail or the AAR probe under negative G, but how can the blades of two counter rotating rotors mounted onto the same axis possible ever hit each other ? Under negative or positive G , they all should bent the same amount because the upper and lower blades should be affected the same way, right ?
  21. Despite it was discussed a while ago (in 2004) on another forum, I would like to know whether the claimed safety problem (counter rotating blades colliding under specific negative G maneuvers) is real and if this will be modeled by the DCS:BS flight model ? Posted by Showtime 100 "I think the Ka-50 lost a lot of points with the military after the crash which killed general Vorobyov. Just like the other crash of this type, the helo went down because the counter-rotating rotor blades actually hit each other thanks to negative G maneuvring." 22. Except for the Starforce copy protection: The DL version needs to be activated (5 activation keys are provided with your purchase), while the CD version will ask for the CD once a week.
  23. Greetings to Gys. Hope he will be back soon !
  24. Have you seen this ? http://ma.hit.bg/su27history/history1.html http://www.flightgear.dk/anatoli.htm http://www.aviapedia.com/category/video/sukhoi-family (last video on the list)
  25. In the ED DL-section, the file size is listed as 274.42 MB. Just tried the Russian Mirror, and the game downloaded fine. DL manager are a no-no, so says the ED web page. Check PM.
