  1. I did it because the sim let me, lol. That's why I'm asking the question because I didn't think it was possible so I wanted to see if this is some error in FM/engine performance. Also, just for reference, I was loaded with 4xSD-10 and a centerline tank which I jettisoned at 30k ft so I started with a full internal fuel load during those 12 minutes. That's interesting. I never would have expected fuel consumption to be that low with AB on.
  2. I notice that when you toggle between master modes it does not keep your last radar setting for that mode. Switching to AG mode and setting SEA1, 15 degree azimuth, and 80 mile range then switching to AA mode and back to AG will reset it to MAP, 60 degrees, 40 miles. I have seen this for all master modes. Is this intended behavior or should we actually be allowed to 'save' map settings for each profile?
  3. I flew a mission last night where I was in full AB for approximately 12 minutes with my altitude starting at about 30k ft and went up to 49,800 ft. During this time I only burned about 1200-1300lbs of fuel. This seems suuuuuper low to me unless I have a misunderstanding of fuel flow at higher altitudes?
  4. The 802 engages it’s engines after it drops while the 701 motor ignites on the rails. The drop gives it the clearance It needs to avoid exhaust inhalation.

  6. In addition to my last request, I'd also like to see bindings for HUD/MFD Day/Night mode switch and also axes for all the interior lighting knobs.
  7. I think he means having the INS coordinates already being input like how the F-16 already has the correct coordinates entered and you just have to start the alignment by turning the switch.

  10. I hope they do revisit it soon! It would make it just that much more multi-role if we had a few more options on the inner pylons.
  11. Hey Miles, That's awesome, I'm thankfully already on the list so I can't wait for my number to get called! Does the camera have to be mounted in a stationary position or can it be mounted on my head like the trackIR clip?
  12. 36-39 are the waypoints reserved for pre-planned targets (PP1-PP4 if you are inputing it through the F10 map). 30-35 are route points for the 802AK and 802AKG (RP1-6 on the F10 map). These are used if you are using pre-planned modes. If you are using the direct TOO mode, you can use a normal navigation waypoint that is set as your SPI.
  13. Will we ever get the ability to load other bombs on the inner pylons like mk82/GBU12 in single or double racks? Or even the type 200? I understand the justification for removing ordnance that produced exhaust from the inner pylons but you'd think that these bombs should be allowed since they're even lighter than the mk83 and mk84 that is already implemented.
  14. Hey guys, I tried searching through this thread but couldn't find anything conclusive. So I just wanted to ask, is this compatible with trackIR/normal 2D usage? Even outside of VR I would much prefer using an interface like this than constantly having to use a mouse.

  16. I can also confirm that cold start will sometimes skip the pod BIT. Also I would love to have a TTI counter.
  17. Yes I understand how the mode works, my question was what is the “reasonable range”? Does the SPI need to be within half a mile of the emitter? 5 miles?
  18. So are we getting a TOO mode in the future? Also, how close to the SPI does an emitter have to be for the LD-10 to pick it up when in ACT mode? What is the range for active mode? For example can I use the tpod or ground radar in conjunction with the SPJ output on the HSD to try to direct an area for the LD-10 to search?
  19. Are we getting a system like FPAS? I remember they said it was down the road and I'm hoping that it is still a feature that will be added.
  20. Could that allow for carrying the heavier weapons like the GB6s and 802s on the outer pylons? Or is it still a structural limitation even with the increased payload weight?
  21. If you have tanks on you always need to be in AG and AG2. If it’s showing as red you might have over-G-ed your tanks and they’re hung. You can also over-G other munitions and they’ll just be dead on the pylons. As for your radar, do you switch out of start up mode into NAV? Posting a track might help to resolve that issue.
  22. Trim system works normally like every other aircraft for me. Maybe something is wrong with your keybinds?
  23. Can we get a toggle for the exterior lights master or a switch up & down in addition to the momentary binds we already have? Also the same for the landing and taxi lights. Currently you need 3 buttons for full functionality but making it switch up & down or position toggle would make it better for 2-way rockers.
  24. Is there going to be a way to do a full alignment in the future in that case?
