I learned recently that the pitot switch is only needed if you need heat on the ground and/or during takeoff, in the air it will be on regardless of the switch position.
-
You can change the entries for each table in the DED page. You just have to switch them for the appropriate code for the emitter.

Is Deka able to make a J-10 module?
Mustang25 replied to Hornet_Driver's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
There's already been a thread about this and the answer is no. -
Huh? Nobody here is saying that those shouldn’t be there. The discussion is about forward firing munitions at those stations.
-
You haven't missed anything. They haven't announced a release date.
-
This would be incredible! I hope you guys can do it!

You're not going to get that kind of distance in HAS. Expect about 35 miles at 30k ft. And it's not going to loft in HAS mode either so as long as the HARM sensor picks it up that's all that matters as far as nose positioning goes.

You need to bind the lase button first. I don’t remember what it’s called off the top of my head.

[WIP] WMD7 external model animation is bugged.
Mustang25 replied to J20Stronk's topic in Bugs and Problems
I can also confirm this. Also, when the TGP is point/area tracking, the 3d model will not track to maintain POV on that point and it just stays at a fixed animation. -
Yeah, I dunno either. I don't know if it was intentional that the station OSB was removed or not or if they still mean it to be able to be pressed.
-
How far away from the target are you? The TGP can only ground stabilize at less than 21 miles.
-
You can actually still toggle weapon stations by hitting the same OSB even when it doesn't have the station number. I've done it multiple times the past few days.

[FIXED] Barometric Pressure Setting Control Knob key bindings
Mustang25 replied to Oraijon's topic in Fixed Bugs
While you're at it, could you add an AAR switch that toggles between the positions and doesn't need to have the switch held down? -
How does that work, are you just doing a direct replacement of the client slot for each mission? I've really been itching for a Viper campaign and eagerly awaiting Baltic Dragon's whenever he releases it.

cannot reproduce and missing track file Maverick target lock issue
Mustang25 replied to Speedrick's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Can you be more specific on what you mean by fail to lock? To start with, are you close enough to the target? Are you using the TGP and if so have you properly boresighted the mavericks? -
i believe that this is the actual issue. It’s been established from IRL pilot feedback that the US RWRs are vastly overperforming/have been simplified a lot in DCS. of course, who’s to say if the JF’s RWR is right or wrong down to the specific details but it feels more correct with what we know of how it should actually work IRL.

That would be awesome. I am also in support of this!

being the same helmet, the capabilities should be very similar. And yes, the ground radar should also have similar abilities (including GMT) although slightly less capable since it is physically a smaller radar. I believe the viper radar only goes to EXP2 where the hornet goes up to EXP3. also, have you considered the Jeff? It has some limitations but it has a huge variety of weapons if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s got equivalents for pretty much everything, BRM90 (APKWS), CM802AK (Harpoons), CM802AKG (SLAM), LD10 (HARM), GB6SFW (JSOW-B) and even some weapons like the type 200A anti-runway bomb that you don’t see in the US arsenal.

JTAC/Buddy Lasing with BRM Rockets but without Pod?
Mustang25 replied to Mirknir's topic in JF-17 Thunder
The BRMs need a target designation for launch authorization. A different way to do it that doesn’t require your own TGP would be to set HUD as SOI and put the designator in the general area of your target. Or using the ground radar to designate a point can also work. -
Tips on high speed ground handling during landing.
Mustang25 replied to DmitriKozlowsky's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Please do. I think most of us here would love and appreciate as much IRL Viper knowledge as you're willing to share! -
Is the process for GC alignment different from fast alignment? Also does PU work for re-aligning in-flight? I remember someone on the forum mentioning it but it was awhile ago and the early access guide has no information on GC and PU.

Hey @Flappie, the fix did not work for me either. And here's my MissionEditor.lua file as well. Looks like we all have the same thing here. MissionEditor.lua
