I have solved this problem myself, but I have a further question, so I am attaching the mission I tested to solve the problem. I had initially spawned the E-2D with Late Activation and then respawned it with "mist.respawnGroup()". Then the respawned aircraft would not follow the mission editor for radio frequency and callsign. (The #3 aircraft in the mission.) This was also the case for aircraft spawned at the start time of the waypoint. (The #2 aircraft in the mission.) However, this problem did not occur when I used a script to respawn an aircraft that had existed since the start of the mission. (The #1 aircraft in the mission.) So if I unchecked Late Activation, this problem was solved. I just started working with scripting a few days ago, so I don't know much about it yet. Has this problem been reported before, or is it something wrong with my environment? AWACS_Respawn_byMIST.miz

I tried to respawn AWACS with mist.respawnGroup() in the MIST script, but it seems that the respawned aircraft do not follow the frequency and callsign set in the mission editor, all of the aircraft have a frequency of 124 MHz and a callsign of Overlord 1-1. I tried to use setCallsign and setFreacuency, but it doesn't seem to work at all. I am new to scripting, so I have no idea how to solve this. If anyone has a solution, please let me know. This is the group you want to respawn in. Group name: BlueAEW E-2D #1 Callsign: Magic 2-1 Frequency: 265MHz

Even as a Japanese, I would never mistake "F-1" here for a Mitsubishi build. I'm rather surprised that there are people overseas who know about Mitsubishi F-1. That aside, ever since the MirageF1CR appeared in the trailer video, I've been anticipating the arrival of an operable reconnaissance mission plane. Making bombing effect determinations from a reconnaissance aircraft's camera would make the missions even more fun.

I also tried it, and I think it is unlocked due to the point tracking limitation of the WMD-7 pod. The WMD-7 will not be able to point track to targets behind itself. (You should see the message "INS AREA"). If you are going to attack a ship underway, I think it is preferable to attack from behind the ship. However, it will be difficult to catch it on radar. (You can detect it in MAP mode, though.)

2022 DCS Newsletter Discussion - Week 1 & Week 2 (no newsletters)
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to NineLine's topic in DCS 2.9
We look forward to the release of the MirageF1, AH-64D, F4U-1D, and F-15E. It is still fun to touch new modules. I also hope that the existing 3D models for AI will be improved. Good looks are another advantage of DCS. In addition, don't forget to continue to add more assets on the ground. Especially the installable alert hangers would be more uplifting. -
The JF-17 player unit has an option to remove the AAR probe from the ME or F10. However, I noticed that the AI unit does not have the option to remove it. Can you tell me if there is a way to remove the probe from the AI unit? Or can you add an option to remove it in ME?

@Grimm Thanks for the fascinating script! I am trying this script too. I wanted to hide the message, so I set the options as follows. However, even with this setting, the weapon_missing_message did not disappear. So I looked at the part about displaying the weapon_missing_message, and found this on line 239. When I set this part to true, the weapon_missing_message is displayed or not displayed as per the option setting. I hope you will check it out.

The addition of paratroopers will bring more movement to the DCS battlefield, not just C-47s, but any transport aircraft. Even more so if the transports become flyable. I would like to see a more proactive approach to transport aircraft.

DCS: Roadmap (unofficial - NO DISCUSSION HERE)

Empty fuel tanks are very easy to use, and I am now able to practice aerial refueling more. Thank you very much. Although the world is still in a difficult situation due to the pandemic, I just want to wish all DEKA members a happy holiday season (and preparations for the Chinese New Year). 带着来自日本的爱。

I can only hope that the Aerges team will give us more information about this module along with their year-end greetings. Knowing a little bit about what's going to happen next year will help us have a good end of the year too. At any rate, I respect the motivation of the team to start working on the French version as well as the Spanish version.

In addition to the originally planned CE, EE, BE, and M, six variations will be included if CT and CR, which were confirmed in the video, are included. This is clearly unheard of, and I don't think it will fit into one DLC. Furthermore, Iraqi aircraft can also be seen in the video. I'm sure it's just skins, but it's hard to predict.

DCS World 2022 And Beyond Video Teaser...
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to Lace's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I expect the C-47 (at least as AI), AH-64 and BS3 to come for sure. These have already been clearly stated in the video and screenshots as you know. In terms of new elements (also known as my hopes), MiG-29A and F-4E are very desirable, and I'm also considering the possibility of refreshed AI assets. It seems like it's about time for "2022 AND BEYOND" to be released (last year it was released on 12/19), and my concern is whether that video is being produced in the first place. -

I agree that we need to rethink the nature of the F-14A and MiG-29A. But I also think that the few BVR opportunities on this server can sometimes be an interesting factor. My suggestion would be to limit the number of AIM-7s on the F-14A to a maximum of two, and only allow fuselage pylons to be mounted, which would be 2BVR + 4WVR, which I think would be fair to the MiG-29A. In this regard, I think the MiG-21bis should increase the number of things it has to intercept instead of being able to carry more AAMs. For example, if there is an AI B-52 or F-4E coming to bomb a FARP or base from high altitude, Red must go to intercept it. Red's interceptors will chase away Blue's carpet-bombing planes, reminiscent of the Vietnam War during the Cold War. Blue F-5Es and AJS37s, on the other hand, will be able to choose from a variety of actions, such as going on ground attacks or escorting bombers. This way, we may not have to worry so much about Blue's lack of AAMs. (I am eagerly awaiting the addition of the MirageF1 module.) In short, what I would like to propose are these two things. "Adjust the number of BVR missiles on board. "Fly the AI bombers on the Blue side and let the MiG-21bis consume the missiles." I think this constructive flow of discussion is wonderful.

In the case of the Etendard, I've heard that the command panel on the Douglas pod replaces the IVM gunsight and the IVP camera control panel. I saw a video of the Etendard (with refueling pod) in FSX, and the panel part of the gunsight was I'm thinking that might be it.(The resolution is low, the text is hard to read, and I don't understand French.) But I don't know if that is the same one as the MirageF1, and I think it is very likely that it is not helpful. I'll leave you with the URL in case you want to check it out. I'd like to buy a book on the Iraqi Mirage to see pictures of the cockpit, but I've seen very little of the F1E cockpit to begin with, so it's hard to discern what's different and if there are any panels that look like it.

@Alpenwolf I was playing Oil&Water just now, and it seems that the SA-5 on the Red side is too strong. One Blue F-5E that was crawling at low altitude was shot down at a distance of 60 miles. Could you please review the airfield air defense on the Red side? Also, it seems unfair to the Blue side that the Red side has both Ka-50s and Mi-24s. We on the Blue side managed to survive the offensive with our fighters, but it was too harsh for the Blue ground forces.

When I looked at the Steam store yesterday, I noticed that DLC to make the NS430 compatible with Aviojet is now available for sale. I think it was about $6 each for CC and EB. (Japanese yen: 680 yen). I was eagerly waiting for this and immediately bought it to make sure it worked. Thanks again.

I tried to find out about the refueling pods equipped by MirageF1, but I could not find any direct information about which refueling pods were used by Mirages in Iraq. However, I noticed that in France, the country where the Mirage was produced, refueling pods similar to the one in this image were used in Super Étendard and Rafale, and I even found out that they were produced by a company called "Safran". They seem to have been producing refueling pods for many years, and the N220B refueling pod shown on the company website is very similar to that of the Iraqi Mirage. https://www.safran-group.com/products-services/aerial-refueling-systems-and-equipment

I found on this site the page of a French magazine where the photos were published. https://far-maroc.forumpro.fr/t2109-les-mirage-de-bagdad The French magazine is called "LE FANA DE L'AVIATION", and there are several photos of them equipped with aerial refueling pods in the Mirage F1 feature on Iraq.

This is awesome! I was amazed at how fast the work was done.

HI @Vibora. How's your health? Please don't overdo it, and I hope you can develop as you wish. I understand that the EE and M variants are capable of aerial refueling, but if possible, could you please provide empty external fuel tanks? Empty external fuel tanks will make it easier for us to practice aerial refueling. I know it's early days, but this will add to the appeal of this valuable module, which is capable of aerial refueling. And if it's an empty external fuel tank, no doubt the Spanish Air Force has installed one before...
