I was relieved to know that my fears were unfounded. Now we just have to wait for the Mi-24 to fly around on this server.

The Ammo track on the Blue side seems to have replaced the M818 with the M939. This may affect the CTLD script...

Good news. Alpenwolf's work will increase dramatically.

DCS: F-14 Development Update - Bounce, Burble and Orbits!
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Will there be additional carrier landing nets to replace the arresting hooks lost due to damage...? -
I saw that on another PvP server, a script has been implemented that will issue a warning if a certain armament exceeds the limit of the number of armaments carried. I thought it might be effective if this could be implemented on this server as well. But that script is not easy to find...

Quick question: when the Mi-24 is released, will this server be set up to allow crates to be transported?

In the Two Towns mission, the artillery units were attacking not only the enemy tank units but also our PCs. I'm really glad that these improvements have been made. I hope to see these improved in the next time.

In my experience, if the code specification of the vehicle you want to spawn in the CTLD script is wrong, the M818 truck would have spawned.

When the AI fires APKWS and BRM-1, the rocket motor does not work properly. Within the same mission, I tried firing the BRM-1 in my JF-17, but none of the rocket motors were working in the ones fired by the AI, while the ones fired by me fired normally. Here is the log file and trk file from that time. BRM-1_APKWS_20210525.log BRM-1_APKWS_20210525.trk

The Syria mission may be a heavy load on the PC for some people. In my case, I can fly it comfortably with my current PC configuration, but with my previous GPU, the load was too heavy and it did not run satisfactorily, especially near the airfield. Or it may be due to the mission configuration. If my perception is correct, the victory or defeat of that mission is almost always decided by the tanks. I have never seen aircraft contribute much to ground combat. In particular, most of the main battlefield is covered with trees, making it difficult for aircraft to see ground vehicles. I'd like to see other missions if possible, but if ground combat is going to take place, I'd prefer to see it in the open desert as much as possible.

One thing I was wondering when I was doing the Five points unleashed mission, is there an equivalent to the Su-25T ELINT pod or Kh-25MPU on the Blue side ?

The S-125 sight is inferior to the HAWK in terms of effective range, and while there are usually many MiG-21s flying on the Red side, and those aircraft may be able to make up for the lack of range, it is still unfair when you consider that there are equal numbers of players. So I examined the contents of the CTLD script. And I found one possibility. I'd like to share it with the admin Alpenwolf and the other players. @Alpenwolf My idea is that to assemble the Kub's radar and launcher, I can request two crates for each radar and launcher. As you can see in the image, the CTLD script allows you to request two crates to place one vehicle. createsRequired = 2 This is the part that specifies the number of crates required for each vehicle placement. In this case, two crates are required just to place the radar. But I'm not very good at flying helicopters, so debugging is difficult, and I don't know yet if this will work correctly, but if this works, the Red side could require four transports to build a SAM site.

It would be even better if we could use the G.91R's unique nose camera, which would bring a new kind of reconnaissance aircraft to the Coldwar server.

The release of the Mariana map is approaching, and judging from the recent developments of the Chinese military, I believe that Chinese naval assets are becoming indispensable for the Mariana map. I believe that the only people who can develop them are the people at DEKA. You say you are preparing something for the Mariana map, but can we expect assets from the Chinese Navy? For example, the aircraft carrier Liaoning...

resolved [solved] Skins of AI Aircraft not shown in Multiplayer
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to thornx's topic in Multiplayer Bugs
If the same skin is not installed on the dedicated server's SavedGames, the user skin specified in the mission will not be reflected. -
I am very much looking forward to the Mirage F1 project. I previously heard that the F1C variant will be available for early access this year, is it going to be a while before it is released? I always have $80 ready and waiting for the release. (I don't mind if it's $100.)

Still can't get this server to show up on my screen... Oh sadly...

@Alpenwolf Is this server currently online? A few hours ago it was on the list, but now it is invisible.

I was working on a mission for my community when I discovered that my carrier fleet, which used to work, had stopped working since the most recent update. The carrier fleet is set to circumnavigate from the UAE coast to the Qatar Peninsula coast, and it used to sail fine, but since the last update, it stopped working at the start of the mission. I tried to find the cause of the problem and came to the conclusion that it might be related to the depth of the ocean. It was difficult to tell the depth of the water from the mission editor or visually, so I made some minor adjustments while looking at the F10 map, and confirmed that the ship would not navigate in slightly shallow water. Even though I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, I'm filing this as a bug report in light of the fact that it used to work. Ships_movement_test.trk Ships_movement_test.miz

@Alpenwolf I also tried to connect with the IP number, but the server seems to be offline.

@Alpenwolf Thanks for maintaining a great server. I was playing The Mountains Cry mission and noticed that when my friend boarded the Ka-50 it had an airborne start. Is this a spec for this mission? Also, when my friend was transporting supplies by helicopter, we were discussing that it would be very useful if the helicopter transport could provide additional radar sites. On the Blue side, this could be accomplished by allowing the HAWK search radar to be deployed on its own, rather than the EWR radar. This mission had a lot of small undulations in the terrain that made it easy for enemy aircraft to hide, so the EWR radar alone had limited detection time and GCI had a hard time.

Steam 2021 lunar sale L-39 still full price?
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to SharkWizard's topic in Steam Support
I have the same question. The L-39 Albatross was not included in the exceptions indicated in advance. Is this a specification? -
I am impressed with what you have done. I am honestly delighted that the A-6 AI is being released and look forward to the day when this aircraft, along with the F-14 and AJS37, will be ready for flight by us. Good luck!!

Possibility that the RCS of R-77 is abnormally large.
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to Admiral_ZIPANGU's topic in Weapon Bugs
Your point is probably correct, the R-77's distinctive fins can certainly produce some interesting RCS values. It is also true that the missile guidance logic of the DCS is still in its infancy. However, the current situation of AIM-120 being guided by R-77 is clearly an anomaly and should be corrected. To add to the earlier report, my friend, the first reporter, testified that he set the Reflection of R-77 to 0.05, and this phenomenon was no longer seen. Changing the RCS value of the R-77 as a temporary measure could be very useful.
