Good explanation Gospadin. As for using target, some do, I don't. I find it much easier to bind in game for everything. And using JGSME is super easy too, just haven't bothered with 1.5 yet.

Here's a modded default.lua that contains new settings for both 3 position flaps for the Warthog HOTAS and for stepping over the gate when starting the engines, from STOP to IDLE. Place it in /DCS World OpenBeta/Mods/aircraft/L-39C/input/L-39C/joystick. Recommend backing up the default.lua first cheers default.lua

Didn't mean to be so blunt. Had my coffees now.. Ive got the warthog as well. What I do is set it as close as possible to the ingame and real world settings. Look at the pictures in the manual and copy what you see, for example the trim settings and pneumatic brake, etc. the L-39c is a very basic aircraft and as such, there is not much to map if you want close to reality. Once you get comfortable you may relaize there is something else you want on the HOTAS, such as trim reset or possibly set the throttle stop/idle button to your throttle gear warning cancel button.

I'm just going to copy the relevant parts from the modded MiG-21 lua that I have that allows it. When I get it working I'll post the default.lua here so you have it. And we may be able to get some code from the A-10c default.lua to activate the stop/idle for the throttle as the Warthog has you do this for engine start.

Can't get it working either, keep getting DX11 errors. Hope someone gets its working. Its IMO one of the best mods made for DCS. Wonder why DCS won't/doesn't add it?

Nope. My lever on my Warthog is asigned as the brake lever. Air pressure gauge only moves when applied and goes back to normal when released. On my 1.5 anyway..

Same as Asmod above for accessing the file. I get a black screen when trying to go multiplayer and nothing else. When I do the first start of singleplayer DCS for the day, it goes black for up to a minute, but then loads normal. I figure its probably shaders or something loading.

Anyone else having the cockpit vibrate until the jet is rolling on taxi in 1.5?

Found out that yesterday trying to raise flaps and close the airbrake. Nothing would happen until I got my RPM's up and the warning light went out. Pretty cool I think.

Made a fast mission in the ME for testing and saved it under the "My Missions" folder but the file name does not show in the tab when looking for it. Nothing in the mission except single jet with runway takeoff. The file name appears only in the file naming line, not the folder area. Restarting DCS does not change this and the mission only show in the naming line when th ME is opened.

Its due to the commands that LN removed from the settings. It's been widely reported and hopefully reinstated. It not just the flaps that are missing.

So what you are saying is that because the flight are not active it tumbles. So with that rationale a shuttlecock from badminton should tumble as it flies through the air because it doesn't even have control surfaces? The air rushing over the control surfaces, even though not deflectin, is enough to keep them stable in flight. Being dropped from a jet travelling at mach 1 means the missile is initially travelling at mach 1 when dropped. Yes, it will slow due to drag, but should remain stable. I have seen personally missiles been fired from AD systems that have a 2nd stage misfire and they fly just as level into the ground.

Whatever is released next i guess.. Don't hold your breathe for the C-101 anyway..

September Does anyone from Aviodev bother with this thread at all? Trying not to be an a$$ but it was said in January that release would be ASAP. That was 8 months ago now and not a mention about it. For me, the manual is one of the selling features of a module. Waiting for and not saying anything after this long, IMHO is not acceptable. I realize this is a side project for the team, but this is starting the be another Mi-8 Hip type wait.

August.. Will they be released with the 1.5 version?

Just upgraded tonight from win7 on my Alienware Aurora R4 with zero issues. All games and programs work perfectly and just messing around with it for an hour or so I think I like it.
