    Fantastic

^^It was never meant to fight those jets, rather intercept and shoot down incoming (heavy) bombers.
  2. Let's see: we have a Santa-like dressed ground crew pointing the Bug to a "take off" direction...it's seems quiet self-explanatory if you ask me... :D
  3. Don't you think? ;)
  4. Wow, that was one rough landing..and not very smart.. Oh, and the camera man sucks.
  5. The more they make it detailed (PFM, additional HUD symbiology etc) the more I'm loving it. The VSI on the HUD is also great for landing.
  6. ^^Didn't you know: real pilots can land with flat tires! :D
  7. Kudos to the guy who managed to save one of the pilots by removing the belt which was suffocating him and administrating CPR!
  8. Yeah..the blackout thing is IMO a bit exagarated..
  9. Thanks for the interesting info! Ok. then, even if the sim kinda 'tolerates' higher speeds, I'll follow your advice next time I go for landing. :)
  10. Doesn't the manual say it's better to land with higher speed then slow and say, loose momentum? I land at around 350-380 km/h and as long as the touchdown decent rate is around 2-3m/s, gear and tires should be fine. At lower speed it's actually harder to maintain proper decent rate and that may cause harder landings / landing gear damage.
  11. ^^My guess is, you need check the keybinding for slewing antena left/right.
  12. Guy who programmed the module is former real life MiG-21 pilot so...I think that pretty much gives you an idea of how good the model is. ;)
  13. ^^Interesting..thanks for the info! :)
  14. I noticed when I land, I can actually start hitting the brakes around 300 kp/h and keep on "pumping" untill the plane stops (without chute). Never do brakes fail or tires blow. I know in Su-27 it's a whole different story, having to start braking under 220 kph and only in small intervals (othervise tires will blow). So, does MiG-21 really have such a durable brakes/tires or is the tire damage (when overbreaking) not modelled? I know you can blow the tires when landing too hard etc., but I'm talking about hitting the brakes at -300 kp/h and keeping them on and off untill the plane stops.
  15. ^^Hey Ironhand, could you post a track please? And what is HPRF? :D
  16. Make possible NEUTRAL aircraft placements (for example CAP flights) Make those flights go hostile ONLY if radar locked or fired upon.

    Ho hoo hoooo...

Sooo..Wepar buddy, you like the picture? :D

  19. If it shouldn't be there, I too hope it gets removed in the update.
  20. I was just kidding as to, OF COURSE everyone would buy it, why ask such a "silly" question! ;)
  21. Congrats PLAAF, you have won a Award! :D
  22. Speedy..I had the same problem...While you may think it's not TrackIR related - check again. Track IR usually "switches" to a certain profile when you launch the game, which means that very profile may still have F8 assigned to it. Have you tried checking the TrackIR profile while minimizing ingame window?
  23. Maybe the repair mechanics quit their job and that's why they're not responding to you anymore?
  24. Hey, please don't be angry with me. I just wanted to help. If I offended you in any way, I apologize. If it helps, I can send you one of these as I heard all the ace pilots use them:
  25. DCS is primarily a SIM, not an arcade game. While there IS support for keyboard, you can't really expect 'further development' in this area?
